yeah thats jack surfing. he was a pro surfer but during a surf competition he hit his head on the reef and couldnt surf competitively anymore. he said thats what mellowed him out was the hit to the head and now he produces this awesome mellow surf music on acoustic. :)

I would say that he is the one surfing. According to Wikipedia, he's the son of a famous surfer, raised in Hawaii. This explains his mellow, awesomely cool music!
