Just wanted to say how grateful I am to everyone for listening and being such great supporters of Kate Wolf's music and of me. I read every comment, and listen to everything you say. It keeps me going. I made this video on a rare day off from my day job. The sun was shining in the windows on the shady side of my last apartment. There's a story behind everything. I'd love to hear from others who are playing this song.

Kate Wolf was such a unique soul, that I find there are very few people who can do her stuff without losing track of the simple purity at the source of her music. You however, are definitely one of them. You give yourself to the song, exactly how she suggest we should give ourselves to love.

I'm turning 40 in July, and I feel like I'm just getting started on something I've been meaning to do for a very long time. Actually, I'm returning to all the things I enjoyed when I was younger but "put away" to pursue other things.

Holly, wow you sound so much like Kate, you even resemble her as well. I was lucky enough to meet Kate in the late 70's, to sit and jam with her after her house concert concert @ our Folk Club in the bay area in 79. My band does several of her songs. She was the best singer-songwriter that I've ever met. Let's hear more of you, ok?

FANTASTIC Kate Wolf cover! I've always loved this song and one of the best things I have in my possession is an album Kate signed. She left us far too suddenly and far too early. Each time I look at that signature it's like she is still holding the record in her hands but I look around and she isn't here anymore. Then, just when I'm feeling totally down I put the record on and find she is still here and her voice wanders out of my window into my neighborhood.

"Unfinished Life" is a beautiful one. I was playing around with that one today.

Other ones I play include, "Old Jerome," "Here in California," "The Trumpet Vine," "Across the Great Divide,"The Lilac & the Apple," "Medicine Wheel," "You're Not Standing Like You Used To."

I can't promise it will work out, but I'll give "Unfinished Life" a try. It might be a while, though.

Kate Wolf was such a great, great singer/songwriter. I just loved her music ! It is so sad that she is no longer with us. Her music meant so much to me. I think your cover is very wonderful and hope you cover more of her songs.
