@multicolouredzebra as a canadian living in the US, i can say that american parents are waaay over-protective. i prefer UK skins cause it has more drugs/sex/swearing, which makes it more realistic for me, and yet it's the american parents that are trying to get it cancelled rather than the UK parents trying to get the racier UK version cancelled... it's not as if teenagers aren't doing or talking about all of this stuff already!! madness i tell you

too right 1 and 2 were amazing , series 3 was awful, 4 was shockingly bad. the characters were unrealistic, unrelatable . the plot became like a soap opera, the script was terrible, alot of the acting was off too, and after all that they're going to make a series 5. why cant the leave things alone?

you can't really compare them, because they're so different. Series 3 the cast seems a lot younger, and the stuff they deal with seems so much more silly. It's nothing like the original, but it's not awful. But I know people who love it, and people who despise it. It really just depends, I guess. :]
