No duct tape, just wire, solder, a few resistors, some switches, a bread board, a PIC and a fair bit of time. If you watch, you can see the bread board falling off the back part way through and being dragged around. They are connected, the RoboSapien controls the NSECT, or flip a switch and the NSECT is remoted controlled.

The RoboSapiens control is not quite perfect though, its goes forward fine, but when it tries to go backwards, it goes round in circles. Haven't quite figured that one out.

The bottom looks like the lego robotics set I got as a wee lad (maybe 6ish years ago?). Its really cool. You make something and you can program it to do cool stuff. You put engines in wherever you want, and you can use the engine to power just about anything the robot does. Its good stuff. (The bottom half that is... top half is some other gay ass toy... hha)

It's not sticky taped, it's not glued, it's screwed in place. The top is a RoboSapien, the bottom half is an NSECT, and it was the closest I could get to a spider. If you watch about 10 seconds in, you can see the interface circuitry (a breadboard) falling off the back and being dragged around.
