  • If Elvis hadn't come along at about the same time, Sanford Clark, and possibly Jack Scott would both be household words today. They were both an incredible talent... Timing is everything!!

  • @JGMagoo I believe had Elvis not came along pop and rock would not have had it's leader and would've been the fad that the establishment were accusing it of being.

  • this song written by the GREAT Lee Hazelwood. wee all love him and miss him

  • this brings back memories of riding around in melvin buccoli's black & yellow ford convertible in 1956, stopping to talk with the pretty girls and trying to date them next sat nite. now i wonder what she thought when i picked her up at her house in my prison grey 1950 chevy 4 door sedan instead of the almost new ford convertible for that date i wrangled the week before.

  • Hmmm. That conjured up some nice nostalgic images!

  • @wurlitzer1450 Pappy you so old, you've got a Bible signed by God.

If you still around wish you Keep on Rockin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @wurlitzer1450 Dude, image how much I envy you growing up in that time :-/

  • This was one of my faves from way back when. The song is a good match with Sanford's voice and style. Too bad he didn't come across as strong on some of his other recordings.

  • That sound is Beautifully Pristine! Very Nicely Done!

  • Sounds fantastic in my laptop, 78rpm rules!

  • @janv8 connected my laptop to the stereo amp. "The Fool" comin' with 50 watts per channel... great!

  • How cool that these old songs are available on You Tube. Thanks for posting.

  • Totally dig that vintage 78 playing on a vintage vacuum tube record player. Cant get much more authentic than that.

  • Good to know Irish...

  • The riffs comes from Howlin' Wolf "Smokestack lightin"...great song btw
