I love It!,I Love It!, I Love It!, ...Not since 34 Years Have I Seen This, I remember All of it The 3 crocs,Henson juggling, the pigs, & of course the end He Always dropped the desserts!, Absolutley Classic!!!
You're so right, always a good sign when children show empathy. Sesame Street was such a great childrens show, loved Bert and Ernie, Grover and of course the Cookie Monster... happy innocent days! X
@MegaGlamma Yea. It's hard not to feel a little sorry for him. (Especially if we at that age think of him having worked so hard to make those cakes.) But then compassion and feeling sad for are good traits. And if we still have them as we age, we should be happy. I understand they would make this mess to 'end the skit.' This was of course a Jim Henson trait. But it's sad seeing the baker fall and see the mess of his work.
If you have not noticed, the man juggling the balls is Jim Henson, Muppet preformer and friend of Frank Oz. Also Brian Henson is the kid who says "Three peas."
Hey! I have this skit on the bonus disc that came with my Sesame Street: A Celebration book! If I was a little kid back in '69, I would've danced to the music with a big grin on my face.
Jim Henson was a master when it came to stuff like this.

I would be too if I'd dropped the grand total of 55 cakes on the floor.

@Axelma1 He's thinking, "This happens every time I bake something. FML."

@zephranna01 The guy playing the baker was Alex Stevens, a professional stuntman, so he probably didn't get hurt too bad.

Spilling a whole group of desserts is not wanted when for real.
For spilling a whole group of desserts, as long as it's 100% fake, falling down the stairs is not wanted when in real life.
The best thing for America to do is to use drop zones plus "Family Feud" mushroom-style buzzers.

I didn't know Jim Henson could juggle! You learn something new every day, I guess!

I loved it when the baker fell! For comical reasons, of course.
Now as for the three crocodiles, do you think they may have freaked out anybody?
