real battlefield players used to play cod back when it was on a pc only and they racked up scores like 50-5 ,50-10 we played on starlance on ladders and would rape you pres your horrible at cod no offesne your commentary is good and funny but you wouldn't last 5 seconds against elite cod players the game is fucking easy takes no skill and you cant even get at that level with a controller you need a keyboard and mouse to be at that truly elite level the controller just wont let you

The keyboard/mouse has greater precision but ergonomically it's harder to use, and the controller has less precision but ergonomically easier to use. There's a trade-off between how it feels in your hands vs. how it works in the game. Don't get me started on how bad the Wii controllers are lol.

@succibis cod has an emphasis on muscle memory, map knowledge, hand eye co-ordination and quick reactions, bf has this too but also has an emphasis on team work and strategic forward thinking and planning, in cod, theres no need to consider what effect your actions will have on a larger scale, in bf you need to consider alot more, quick reactions and the muscle memory needed for playing video games isnt sharpened by sports, its sharpened by playing that specific video game, its more mental.

@PATRIOTxx3 In black ops the spawns cater to bad players. They flip almost every kill. You almost have to spin circles while shooting to stay alive. Ever play TDM on Jungle? It's a sellout to the mainstream to keep them playing the game. In COD4, the spawns hardly broke at all. They would rotate around the map. Good players thought out the best routes to take. They knew where the enemy was going to go, before the enemy even went there. And 1v1 moves and gun skill is just that, skill. COD4>BO

Not all times but most of the time camping is the only way to stay alive instead of running around like an undead and die 20 times in 5 minutes. That gameplay type isnt fun. Its a FPS where you can do lots of stuff with the help of camping.

battlefield can be a very agressive fast paced game and at times its faster than cod most of the REALLY good battlefield players i.e. sgt. enigmma they run around, just most of the bad battlefield players camp, battlefield 3 how ever its harder to be completely aggresive compared to bad co 2, all you have to do is ustilize cover, that doesnt mean camp it just means move so that you minimize time in the open but you can still be aggresive while doing so

First of all, my roots go back to Ghost Recon on the OG XBox... That was a team tactical shooter... I enjoy the team aspect, working with team mates to gain an objective...
To me COD is like playing checkers, and BF is like playing chess... I enjoy playing the thinking/planning aspect of a shooter. Don't get me wrong, I've played my share of COD games and have had fun doing so, but for the most part, its just mindless running around game of checkers...

hahhaha. My brother and I call the idiots who sprint obliviously down the middle of the road, with their head down, out in the open on BF2/BF3, "Elpresadors." lmao. You have to earn the right to use the sprint button in BF. Otherwise, you die. You have to fight and earn the ground you cover. Whereas, in COD you don't. There's no thinking or strategy involved (other than in COD4).

@sosnarfy70 Battlefield may be slow paced, but at least it's balanced, fair and requires you use this little thing in your head called your brain. It's not connection based like COD. Cover actually works. You have to burst at long range. There's no quickscoping that exploits the massive hit detection boxes and lag compensation. MW2 and BO were both marketed and sold to spoiled little kids who sprint with their head down expecting to have shit handed to them. Btw, breaking BO or MW2 would be fun.

I am claiming the potential for strategy to pay off is higher in BF as well as COD4. Btw, I do like COD. IMO, neither MW2, BO, nor BF holds a candle to COD4. And COD4 was enough of an arcade shooter in of itself. CS 1.6 or CSS makes even COD4 look like a child's game.

@Shaun589 lol COD4 was my favorite game BECAUSE there was NO strategy involved. Just aim and shoot. Whoever has the better gun skill and 1v1 moves won. It takes strategy and planning to avoid/takeout OMA campers and marathon/lightweight knifers or navigate the ridiculously large black ops maps.

@PATRIOTxx3 In black ops the spawns cater to bad players. They flip almost every kill. You almost have to spin circles while shooting to stay alive. Ever play TDM on Jungle? It's a sellout to the mainstream to keep them playing the game. In COD4, the spawns hardly broke at all. They would rotate around the map. Good players thought out the best routes to take. They knew where the enemy was going to go, before the enemy even went there. And 1v1 moves and gun skill is just that, skill. COD4>BO

Not all times but most of the time camping is the only way to stay alive instead of running around like an undead and die 20 times in 5 minutes. That gameplay type isnt fun. You have to kill everone and try to stay alive as log as you can. It dosent matter if its a video game or reality. Its not a shootem up game. Its a FPS where you can do lots of stuff with the help of camping.

battlefield can be a very agressive fast paced game and at times its faster than cod most of the REALLY good battlefield players i.e. sgt. enigmma they run around, just most of the bad battlefield players camp, battlefield 3 how ever its harder to be completely aggresive compared to bad co 2, all you have to do is ustilize cover, that doesnt mean camp it just means move so that you minimize time in the open but you can still be aggresive while doing so
