FIRST TINE I HEARD THE LYRICS TO THIS. ALWAYS PLAYED ONLY AS AN INSTRUMENTAL BY EVERY BIG BAND I SAW WHICH SPANS MOST OF THEM.

One of my favourite jazz songs. I adore the haunting version by late Jazz vocalist Carla White. Ive always wanted to sing this song but found it out of my range and too difficult. The way you handle this song is just wonderful. Your extremely good at taking a song and making it your own. Again, splendid vocal!!

Today or tomorrow, I shall post about 40 jazz-standards, which I sang to the accompaniment of jazz2511 (= Doug McKenzie in Australia). It's amazing, how the internet enables us to communicate and even cooperate across the oceans.
