Great song. Very inspiring. The lyrics go well with the music and on top of the great song the kid dancing makes it even better. The music is moving his heart to dance, so he is just letting it go :). Beautiful.

Those lines made me think about what John Hurt's character said in the film Shooting Dogs/Beyond the Gates about the Rwandan genocide: "Where is God in everything that is happening here and all this suffering? I think the "Where is God in..." lines are more addressing his doubts than anything. We, as Christians, have doubts. We're people like everyone else. To me, he's asking the tough questions. That's what the whole song is about. Asking tough questions.

@WingedWriter318 The Song is called Vice Verses, kinda like saying Vise Versa, which means it can go both ways. So Vise Verses maybe mean the verses go both ways. We ask God where he is when all these things happen, but it can go the other way by asking ourselves, "Where are we?" When stuff happens, do we do anything about it, or just let God deal with it. God is always there when that stuff happens, the only thing is that he is there through you, he uses you for his wonderful works. =) GodBles

His lyrics show him to bee absolutely in love with his savior, aware that true salvation is perpetual, but what he doubts are the people that use God as an excuse. when you personally realize how good God is, it's hard to except other people just not getting it

Look at all the "Where is God"s. One would assume the person "strolling along the hide tide line" and "looking for signs in the night sky" is the person asking "Where is God...". One could also assume that this person is a reliable narrator, and at least representing a part of Jon Foreman.

That was an amazing performance. And the guys just LOVED that kid. Jon even said that he's his hero! The only downside was that it was FREEZING cold and my mom had a massive headache. We had to leave as soon as it was over. :( I felt bad for my mom, she did not feel well or get to enjoy the concert as much as she had liked to
