This is the answer: True Metal, which Manowar plays, is far more popular in Europe, Japan, etc, cos that's where the style began (UK/Germany). The US has always been a "rock'n'roll country", not a metal country. If u like Rock, then the US has the best Rock (GnR, KISS, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Van halen, etc) because that's where rock n roll was invented. I love KISS but NWOBHM & power metal is my fav. Only tru metal band from US is Manowar

@LordShadowsMusic thanx for commenting back but, i have been a musician for 43 yrs. and came from the generation that started the whole fuckin ball rollin. metal did not start in europe at all, american musicians/bands where the ones turning it up. our rock evolved into the metal genre's (zanra/zhahn) of what we all know what metal is today period! we didnt here nothing from euorpe for yrs. we were the ones that were setting the standard of today. euorpe at that timeline where followers at best.
