it wasn't Chris Scragg's V8 that caused the accident, how were the commentators getting this wrong?? The modern Aston V8 in second place spun out and caused the whole thing.
@terekus I think Quarry Corner is in bit of blind spot for the comentators. the comentators on the pit straight cant see it because of the slight drop after avon rise and the guy in old paddock i think its just too far away to make out significant details. im not sure just what i think, they often use the twitter and text thing they got going nowadays for more detail
@pritch2002 in fairness to the commentators, there position is right at the edge of their vision its where they swap over the guy on the startline cant see over into Quarry and the guy at old paddock has a straight on view at a fair distance so it is easy to see why they said what they did. but yes it was the V8 Vantage's spin that caused it all, there was about 10 mins after that while they bought in new tyres from out the back as the orginals were bent and broken to all angles
@ThePEDERZ Yeah I do appreciate that, but making it up is far worse than saying you haven't really seen what happened! At 04:45 the bloke then says he got the tail out and couldn't correct it...!!!
