The footage is just recorded from the TV. Sometimes they allow the cameras in to the courts.
Sometimes the royalist fascists who run the Queen's state in Scotland allow juries into the courts as well. More often it is a judge sitting alone rigging justice according to his or her prejudices.

Scots law has international reputation for not being Strasbourg compliant in regard to human rights. Recently we were told by 7 judges its ok not to get access to legal help in police custody despite Strasbourg Judgment saying its illegal. We have no proper pre-trial disclosure rules and also try to be the same as England but we really wee time bunch. The LA abuses her position to promote her radical anti man feminism and acts with complete unaccountability in here role.

Remrett - Well we Scots need to blame the head of state, the Queen, and the kingdom for allowing such rotten judges and practices to arise. A good president of a Scottish republic would sort them out and heads with wigs on would roll.

I have one thing to say about present day Scotland: NANNY STATE on steroids.
Its not as free as people say it is. Procurator Fiscals, Police Chiefs, and Scottish Quangoes are the rulers and kings of their perspective areas. If you peacefully protest than BAM--immediate breach of the peace charge, and a criminal record.

And what does the average person know of the law, the varying methods of legal reasoning, the application of precedent. It would be like a lottery. Specialisation occurs for a reason son. Basic economics. You can change the methods used but the courts should never be directly elected by the people, fool.

ArthurSavillesCrime - Well I have seen these supreme court judges up close and personal and they do whatever the hell they want irrespective of what the law says.
And what do UK law makers know of a democratic constitution which defends the democratic rights of citizens? Nothing apparently since they have passed oppressive laws and allowed the courts to make slaves of the Scots.
You may be content with judges as slave masters - I would rather fight for my freedom.
