  • hey henry this doesn't have much to do with your 00 raiser but I'm building the extra finish PG RX-78-2 and was wondering how do i remove the nubs without blemishing the kit??

  • hi i was wondering where you got the pg stand, i've been looking for one everywhere.

  • hey vegeta, did use primer before u sprayed it silver? And can you explain how you painted it? Did you spray it silver, cut/build the inner frame, then go over the inner frame again with silver? or did you spray it, then cut out the pieces and build them. Cause i recently recieved my PG 00 Raiser and im not sure how to do its inner frame. also, do you think its a bad idea if i build the inner frame first, then spray it section by section? like, ill make the feet then spray it as a whole. thx

  • What type of silver paint did you use ?

  • wait.i see sora(kingdom heart) poster

  • Hi,im a newbie on painting gundams, please give me advices.

In your video, you painted the inner frame parts silver, but wouldn't it affect when you're building?

I mean will the paint make the joints so hard and cannot move normally?

and which brand are you using?(spray paint) Is TAMIYA good?

    please answer me!

  • I had to try quite a few times before I figured out how the shoulder part worked. It was pretty annoying.

  • i think the colour scheme looks absoloutely shit!

  • COKE BALLS!!!!!!! In the background, mmmm coke.

  • its a t800

  • @MakotoJay celestial being version.

  • I am thinking on getting the 00 but man these figures are so expensive but definitely worth it!!. Thanks for sharing your work.

  • Hmm that is realy nice work on the fraim. I got my frame in Matalic Black + spash of flat base. I had modified the pars that the push function dose not get stuck also noted that I got 3 kits of the PG Gundam 00 one frame only, one completed and one unopned so can see the difference between all three. howevver it take me forever

  • How do you manage to find these nice paints? The more I see stuff like your works, the more and more I begin to dislike meticulously hand-painting parts....

I would like to ask you a LOT of questions about this model, though. So many so that I 'unno where to begin.

  • Sorry to be a complete noob here, but what is the difference between matte coat and gloss coat? When should each coat be applied? e.g. before or after painting, paneling and decals. How should you apply each coat? e.g. spray or air brush

  • after watching i completely gave up the thought of making a PG, i'm afraid something goes wrong and ruins the art of the model

  • Were there any nip marks showing the black frame?

  • cool Ü

  • Hi What kind of paint did you use(brand and type)

  • bro, how did you manage to fix the gn capacitors in the shoulders? and is it true that the articulation in the chest is limited or difficult because of the ring mechanism?

  • the gear tooth inside the shoulder is actually uneven if you look closer inside

    I've noticed it with mine

so you'll have to use a knife or filer to make them even

    then it'll work propperly

  • i have a question,in this vid you painted the inner frame silver, but in other vids it's black in color, why is that?

  • well when you paint.. you usually want to pick out the pieces before you paint..

  • mr vegeta8259 is the batteries includes?? on the kit??? or i have to buy theme too?? pls answer hehehe ty

  • hav u ever tried dying the plastic instead of painting

  • what a you doin boy!!!!!

  • the red crystal is supposed to glow green, watch the anime and you will see =p in full GN particle burst, the whole gundam (and the general area around him) glows green.

  • u should have mix it with a little darker color but all in all it came out blingy nice good review

  • The silver paint on this PG does look s very sexy.

  • it looks awsome without any armor. i would leave it like it is

  • so why do you paint it?

    everything comes in color..

plus the 00 is originally black on it's inner parts. i. e. shoulder..

  • @Itsnameisgundam it gives a better look

  • how much trouble did you run in to when painting the inner frame parts? I was thinking of trying that method on my next MG

  • oh yeah forgot to mention. if the red parts still show green, attack them with clear red paint from tamiya :). that might thicken it up and it will work nicely. Gives a deeper richer colour.

  • I'd recommend for your next kit that you cut stuff out before you spray or you'll get nub marks that are the original colour, and sanding will take off yoru paint job. Just saves you time from respraying.

  • considering this is the inner frame and the majority of the nub marks will be covered up by the armour pieces, he would only need to spend abit of time respraying only the exposed parts. this is a pretty time efficient method if you are lazy to do it the normal way.

  • So with the GN Drives you can just twist the top off so you can paint it? I wanted to paint the GN Drives so I don't want to break it.

  • they don't twist, but you can pry the top section off with a screwdriver or something without damaging it... then just put masking tape on the clear parts and paint away :)

  • Thanks a lot.

  • getting dizzy from watching this.. u should try to move ur hadns a bit less D: and the camera keeps going unfocused

  • that siver paint looks cool

  • What kind of spray paint do you use? Is it specifically for plastic?

  • looks impressive, i don't really see a diffrence between the designers color ver. and the final product (of course i see it in yours!)

i might paint mine too. (guess i'll buy another one in the future, like when the price drops xD)

  • cool . btw u can try blackwashing instead of pannelining

  • With the inner frame painted, reminds me of T-800 terminator.

  • i just noticed that

  • So all you did was mist spray silver canned paint on the frame parts? Am I right?

I'd love to see the final result.

  • Looks amazing, could i have the name of the paint you used, did u need to put a undercoat or anything like that on it, unless u already stated this in the video.

  • looks really neat so far

  • I have the official C3x PG Real Type RX-78, well in reality it's called the Kunio Okawara version but same thing. The plastic comes molded in the colors you were thinking about and it comes with a set of decals that say Rx-78 in the cheesy yellow lettering.

  • If I recall those "purple hologram thingies" are the wires that provide energies coming from the GN Drives...

  • green light coming out of red forehead piece is suppose to be how it is, it is like that in the anime too

  • just one word, Wow.

not only do you HAVE the p.g 00 raiser, but the paint job you did is awsome! as always might i add.

can't wait to see the finished product, all painted and armoured up!

  • That just looks awesome!! Can't wait for the next update.

  • Very nice. By the way, that paint app on RX-78's frame is great. What color is that? Gun metal grey?

  • it's a mix of gunmetal and light gunmetal with some weathering for good measure...

  • Whoa. That silver looks way more better than the default black.

I might be doing that with mine now....8D

  • very nice, shiny... like it! cant waut till iys done!

  • I do like that hand color though, makes it looked a bit more used or roughed up

  • are you planning on only painting the inner frame silver? because it seems like a bad idea to paint the whole body silver, unless you can provide a reason for painting the whole body silver.

  • what kind of spray paint is that?

  • And here I was thinking that I build pretty fast but I think you're just a bit faster.

Anyway it looks verry prommissing so far.

  • hmm didnt liked the paint on the inner frame..

  • Hey Vegeta, I'm wondering, with it being December, and Spray painting being difficult to do in the Cold, What is the Temperature where you ive?

  • sexy

  • paint the clear part on the forehead gray

  • For my 00 raiser. apparently part of my shoulder part is molded poorly (also make sure the entire "button" is in

  • wow that's amazing

  • What color/brands spray paint r u using?

  • i think hes using rustoleon paint i use it sometimes but i use bosny

  • At 1:47-1:49 you said Astray not a bad thing but I got confused when I heard that.

  • it isnt even finished yet and its total ownage

  • hmm u shouldnt do that.. assembly and then take it off again to paint colours by colours... because... if you do this.. the paint might be scratched of while snap fitting.. and when you cut the runners from the parts... u willl stilll leave that part unpainted and it will be black.. so overal.. u can see black dots all over your shiny inner frame.. you can still assemble them right now .. then after that spray a little bit again just for it to touch up those black dots~

  • I'm well aware of that... I mentioned in the video that I only have to fix the cut marks on the elbow and knee joints... Also, I'm not doing this on the outer armor...

  • oh okay~ just giving some advise.. u know.. i taught u wana expose some inner frame

  • really you had three airbrushes before? what brand were they? i guess if you get the result you want from the paint it shouldnt matter man. every time i used them the nozzle would spit paint on my project or just stutter a bit. sorry for my comments before. i hope i didint offend u. you are doing a great job on your oo man keep up the good work. hope to have some vids posted soon of my own gundam and anime collection.

  • baindia mest up the shoulder join assembly order

  • i would never paint a pg my self because i'm to afraid to mess up on a 100 dollar or more model it

  • OMG, that frame looks super good!

    The RX-78-2 too.

    Thanks for posting.

Good luck with the rest of this awesome model!

  • personally I kinda like the black hands with the silver frame, But that's just me I guess

  • You need to put the armor from the shoulder up en push on the "button" on the shoulder to move it. I finished my PG today :D.

  • I know, but it still won't go...

  • Did you place the spring thing rigth :D. Because it has to be differtent in each arm.

  • @vegeta8259 do those gunmetal paints come in cans or do you have to brush them on?nice vid btw

    :D

  • looking good

  • the green light is pretty accurate cause in the second ep of s2 when the 00 goes trans am the red jewel kinda turns green.

  • hey what kinda spray brush do u use? and what would u recommend for a vary good one. I want to stop using a spray can

  • That looks really awesome, man. About the red Jewel on top, maybe you can paint it a darker red to overpower the green light better.

  • Excellent job its looking real good, cant wait to see more. 5/5

  • Why not go for a trans am thing? But good idea with the frame looks good

  • OH SHIT THE TERMINATOR IS BACK !!!!!!

  • yo, can some1 tell me how to touch up the nub mark after you cut it from the tree? (after using spray paint on the tree)

  • just get similar paint color and brush it on or use gundam marker

  • thanks bro... ill try that

  • haha terminator

  • the way 00 looks with out the armor looks like Jehuty.just kinda

  • as much money and time you spend on your gundams you should step up and purchase an airbrush. quit wasting time with spray paint.

  • With the quality of his gundams with just spray cans, hes doing just fine. Airbrushing costs way more and far more time consuming.

  • whatever, in the long run airbrush will pay for itself in end. and no they are not more time consuming. better quality by far. i wasnt bagging on his paint job. i personally have had issues with spray paints messing up my own projects and swithced to airbrush. so much better.

  • that's kinda funny, cuz I've had 3 different airbrushes and they always messed up on me. That's why I primarily use spraycans nowadays...

  • Didi you use any prime?

  • Chances are u tightened the screw in the shoulder abit too much. U must make sure that the parts work before u put them in. And i think the manual is wrong for one of the steps.

U put the mechanism in before u put the part that surrounds it on. In the end the button u press should be totally flush with the part around it.

  • is it just me or i see the black lining on the mouth is too thick ?

  • the white face plate will be covering it up

  • ahaa i see that explains it...how much did it cost you to buy this PG O_o

  • @bulgarie001 it is around 300 dollars

  • Omg.... O_o \m/ you Rock bro T-T my my thats some price huhuhuhu sob sob...thanks ^^

  • I expressed concern of priming on runners but I've seen other people do it with success, I'm glad it worked for you.

  • Vegeta, I heard that some modelers painted the inside of the red jewel with silver paint, to block out the green light

  • cool

  • Great Job Man !

I hate they put in the leg joint, how am I suppose to do stop motion easly with that

  • KICKASS MAN. just a quick question when you cut the painted parts from the tree dosent that mess with the paint job?

  • looks good so far.

  • A Perfect Grade 00 Raiser Designer's Color Version huh? Sounds like an awesome idea Vegeta.

  • Nice job so far, looks like it's going well. Hey man, I'm investing in a spray booth for my kits since it's winter time now. I'll do a review of it when I get it and let you know if it's any good. It was only a little over a hundred bucks and looks awesome. Keep buildin!
