I have built two spud guns. Make sure you Prime it first, then use the PVC glue and LOTS AND LOTS OF GLUE. Wait 3 Days before firing. They go further if the gun is rested on the ground, gives the recoil energy into shooting the spud out. Aqua Net hairspray is the best and nothing but fruit goes in there. Read the horror stories of what happens if u block the barrel with something that gets stuck like cans or metal. A spud and about 20 grapes is really good for a shotgun! There power is deadly!!!

Unfortunately I have to say that you are full of hot air. Until you see a video of how far the potato goes and you see the damage it causes, then you post a video of yours in the same test, I won't believe you. 3 to 4 times more powerful would mean the PVC would basically shatter or blow up in your face, releasing all the hot air from your head...

smaller combustion chambers will produce more power. small amounts of propane work well too. tap a hole in the chamber for loading instead of using the end cap. be safe
