  • Rick Perry supported Al Gore's 1988 campaign for president when Perry was a Democrat , why would anyone think he is any different now? He's just another Godless liberal.

  • @festeringmelon .

I was just trying to help you gather more information. If one doesn't understand an issue how can they have an intelligent opinion?

I advocate sustainable living and cultures for the sake of long-term prosperity not oppression, silly. Our habitat is the only one we have. Without a healthy habitat civilizations fail, people suffer. Thinking about the ramifications of our actions is only rational. For example... We know that smoking jepordizes our health therefore, what?

  • @ReduceGHGs LOL. Of course you favor oppression. You share in your ideological history people who have murdered millions of people. You would use the barrel of a gun to ram your worldview down everyone's throat. Would you unban the incandescent bulb? No you wouldn't.

  • @festeringmelon Too silly for me.

Read about the Anthropocene Epoch for starters. Let me know what you think.

Otherwise, I haven't the time or space to teach you here.

    bye

  • We're the only industrilized country that doesn't have some sort of national health care system that takes care of everone. We rank well below most and pay over twice as much. Yes, it's time we had PUBLIC health care for all!

  • This dude thinks doesn't accept science! He has said that human-caused climate change isn't happening! That's all we need another w/cheney that's detached from reality! Is catering to their corporate donors more important than the well being of our future generations?

  • @ReduceGHGs LOL. You still believe in Global Warming.

  • @festeringmelon LOL You still have your baseless beliefs? Why?

Here's where you can learn about it.

Google: NAS pdf Global Warming 2008 Edition

  • @ReduceGHGs What's it like being a statist tool?

  • @festeringmelon .

    Silly AND uninformed?

Do some reading. It very likely that you've never read a book about how we humans affect the biosphere. Is it wise to from opinions about something without know anything about it?

Google this and get a feel for the big picture. It's an interesting subject.

    The Anthropocene Epoch

  • @ReduceGHGs Yes. You are silly and uninformed. Why do you like oppressing your fellow man?

  • lmao if perry wins, were so so so so screwed

  • You only have to check this man's record to see how unconstitutional he is.If you want a President that sticks to the law the founding father's wrote up then Ron Paul is that man.Don't listen to opinion check facts for yourself, just google Ron Paul's voting record over the last 20 yrs,it's the only one that's impeccable,he always vote's for the constitution.Go to his website read his mission statement,do your research, these are very important times. The US can't afford another Bush or Obama!!!

  • @mrbarthoss

That's well thought out and valid statement... now where's your evidence and proof for that? Rick Perry has 10 years experience as Governor to defend his thought process, I would LOVE to hear yours...

  • Rick Perry = Bush Light

  • Satan is wearing Rick's hairy little ring on his pinky finger.

  • If he has truly read the Constitution he would have not had a national prayer day.

  • He's probably a homosexual, child molester, or worse, or all of the above. The Bilderbergs choose only the most corrupt politicians to be their frontmen, so that they can be controlled. You can't control an honest politician, you can only control the corrupt ones. In this way, if the corrupt politician should ever decide to get honest, the Bilderbergs will have their puppet government prosecute him for all of the crimes he committed in the past.

  • Thousands of acres of land just burned to the ground in Texas. No big deal right? It was in an affluent vacation area where people have 1 million dollar homes. Rich people. Elitist's. Teabaggers and Repubs. Why didn't the fire department put them out? Because Perry cut funding for volunteer fire departments and there was nobody around to fight them. You voted for it, you got it!

  • Women needing abortion in Texas will now have to endure REPUBLICAN-CREATED AND REPUBLICAN-CAUSED GOVERNMENT INTRUSION in their lives. Doctors will be FORCED by the government to read FALSEHOODS FROM A GOVERNMENT SUPPLIED SCRIPT --by law, BY LAW! Women will then be FORCED BY BIG GOVERNMENT REPUBLICANS TO HAVE UNNECESSARY MEDICAL PROCEDURES.

Christian Terrorist Republicans are using BIG GOVERNMENT to force their bizarre anti-woman, anti-science, anti-American ideas on everyone.

    Rot in hell perry

  • Rush Limbaugh mentioned your name today. I hope to god that you run for president because we really need you right about now :) God bless Texas, the greatest state in America. I hope you are on the 2012 ballot, I'll surely put a check right by your name. You are the next Ronald Reagan. Spread the word about Rick Perry. He's a good man, good republican, from the greatest state in the nation...God bless America :)

  • Not to mention Bill White looks and acts like a doofus! And THAT comment was in the HOUSTON Chronicle on Sunday-9/26/2010 by a DEMOCRAT!

  • @libralady1010 He DOES look like a doofus! He and that jug earred imbecile in the White House are close to being twins!

  • @cliklab He - Perry - was also in the United States Air Force for four years and served in Vietnam. What has Bill White done besides borrowing from Houston's Police and Firefighter's pension funds? Oh yeah...he hasn't paid federal taxes. And his then 17 year old daughter was arrested for drunk driving and under-age drinking.

  • @libralady1010...Perry did not serve in Vietnam. Perry refused to debate issues with his opponent. His reason is good enough for you? I guess you're a "creationist" and believe in "intelligent design".

All entertaining and terrifying. Is that the point?

  • @cliklab His dumb-ass opponent? Practically bankrupted the city of Houston: lowered it's rating.Whether RP debates or not,he still comes out a winner! The POTUS comes to Texas, tries to run away[ BTW-POTUS did, after 30 seconds]

bill white-aside from not paying taxes, looks like a doofus. We're STILL recovering from IKE,he cussed out 2 forestry women-working for" thuh"government who were just doing their job. THAT'S THE POINT,Oh and you guessed wrong!POTUS won't tell TEXANS how to run our STATE!

  • @libralady1010 .I agree he looks like a doofus. Now I see your point. RP would win whether they debate or not. You're absolutely right.

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say when you wrote ""thuh" government"? Why is thuh in quotes? Btw, where in Texas do you live? Houston?

  • Gov. of Texas is the weakest position in texas. Rick Perry has no REAL authority, for the un-informed idiots out there.

  • Debra Medina wraps his knowledge around his neck! He wiggled from Liberal to Republican. He supports Obama, destroyed the private sector and supports the corporate sector. He even sucks at pretending to defend your liberties! Debra Medina supports property rights, no property taxes, no government stimulus, 2 Amendment with no restrictions, abolishment of the EPA in agriculture and energy, opposes the NAFTA highway, and will restore sovereignty in Texas.

  • @tubecat72072

Check out the Debra Facebook page, no if you though you got hold of the David Duke former Grand Wizard of the KKK Facebook page, look again you have probably got hold of the right page. What the hell is going on there in the Debra Medina Face book, does she actually agree with that garbage and don't bother arguing with the goons that post on the Debra Medina Facebook page, they can and do kill Facebook accounts.

  • Hello all,

Excuse me but I am a non American and I'd like to ask: is it constitutionally legal for Texas to secede ?

  • @KLguy133 Yes, and we are not the only state that can. But it is not likly that we would. What he said was taken out of context by the main strem media.

  • @KLguy133

    Yes.

  • At Virginia's ratification convention, the delegates said, "The powers granted under the Constitution being derived from the People of the United States may be resumed by them whensoever the same shall be perverted to their injury or oppression." In Federalist Paper 39, James Madison, the father of the Constitution, cleared up what "the people" meant, saying the proposed Constitution would be subject to ratification by the people, "not as individuals composing one entire nation,

  • @juggernautxtr but as composing the distinct and independent States to which they respectively belong." In a word, states were sovereign; the federal government was a creation, an agent, a servant of the states.

  • Rick Perry is a Great Governor and would make a Great President

  • Up until the civil war, this Republic was understood to be that of Independent states, joined together to support all. No one thought of a Federal government being superior to the states rights. Technically, while Lincoln did ultimately reunite the nation, he was wrong in exerting federalism on the states. Slavery was wrong, but even Lincoln said that the Civil war, at first, was mostly about federalism and unfair taxes of the majority states, upon the smaller states of the south!

  • What do you get when you cross Adolf Hitler and big hair, corrupt Rod Blogovich?

Answer: Rick Perry, the neo-fascist, crooked, big hair governor of Texas.

I am ashamed that he is from Texas and I apologize to the rest of America that we have allowed him in office so long. There is a chance to REPLACE HIM. Vote Deborah Medina

  • that´s how a fascist look like!

  • they're all bad

  • If you love gardisil for your daughters, the TTC, eminent domain, home property taxes, special trips to Vegas and spa treatments on your dime, and the Bildebergs,

Perry's your Man! As for me, I chose Debra Medina, the Constitutionalist.

  • Debra Medina for governor. Medinafortexas*com

  • That's fine ffairlane. We don't want you either.

  • Rick Perry likes to pose as a constitutionalist and supporter of the tea party movement. Perry is a consummate insider who supports the CFRs plan to build a North American Community. He was summoned to a Bilderberg meeting in 2007. He also worked tirelessly to bring the so-called NAFTA Superhighway to Texas.

  • @sirus10 yes!!!!

    IMPEACH PERRY!!!!

he tried to sell my uncles land to the TTC, he sighned that act without even adressing the land owners, he is a scum bag who only cares about money...

  • Gov. Rick Perry is a CROOK

  • Americans dont understand that the power of the federal government originates in the states, not the federal government! It has been turned on its head in the past 100 years from what the founding fathers intended. I bet all of them are rolling over in their graves over what we have done to screw up the USA and our states rights.

  • In a sense you are right. The power of the Constitution and therefore the Federal government comes from the PEOPLE. Read the Preamble for clarification. THAT power of the people was originally expressed when the States RATIFIED the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and since then all the Amendments. THAT is what the Founders said and that is what they meant. States rights advocates led to the bloodiest war this country ever fought.

  • God Bless Texas! I support Rick Perry and how he's taken a stand against Obama and his take over. I'm glad to live in Texas. I will re-elect him.

  • @GunnysGirl71 if you are glad to live in texas then you would hate perry for sighning our land away to the TTC. he did not even inform us that he sighned it! but with our protests we kept him from selling our land to NAFTA.. FUCK RICK PERRYY!!!! I LOVE TEXAS SO LETS IMPEACH PERRY!!!

he does not care about us, he cares about texas making LOTS OF MONEY.. if you dont believe me i can send the links to the videos were all of this happened

WAKE UP PPL, HE IS NOT SOME HERO HE IS A CFR SCUMBAG

  • This guy is a freaking tool, after 10 years he finally finds out what the tenth amendment is what a joke. He's just trying to pander to the Tea Party groups, 9/12 groups, and all of the paleo conservatives.

  • We've had enough! Let the Revolution begin.

  • "These governor's that stood up and said, "please send us more money, bail us out", I don't think have their state's interests in mind."

Those are some pretty hollow words coming from the dude who was requesting stimulus money to fight the swine flu days after threating to secede Texas. On health care and economics, I won't be taking any of your advice, Mr. Perry, thank you very much.

  • Texas should have the slogan on the licence tags that say "Texas...the Death Penalty State".

  • I have heard that Rick is the second George Bush. Agree?

  • Perry has really become the voice of Texas. I'm so proud of my state right now. I can't wait to leave this awful union.

  • The rest of us outside of Texas can't wait either. You can have your governor, you deserve him.

  • GOD BLESS, TEXAS

    & ALL TRUE PATRIOTS!

    10 Amendment! STATES RIGHTS!

SECESSION! It's the right thing to do!

    2nd Amendment!

    Without 2nd, THERE NO OTHERS!

    SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!

    DEO VINDICE!

  • it's not that damn complicated. Healthcare is not a right guaranteed in the bill of rights. The government has no right to do this. People are responsible for themselves. Not the damn government!

  • Yup the states are the nations not the federal regime.

  • arizona florida wyoming have banned national HC others have bills in the senate

  • Rick Perry stands up for the attempted abuse of texans and idiots who really have no idea about what is going on bash him for it. Thats truly sad. I expected the govt controled media to bash him for not taking the stimulus funds. But as for the lazy people who dont investigate why it is you who have the problem. 39 states have declared 10th amend. 39 states view the govt as oppressive. Why dont you winers look into why these actions were taken. Oh i forgot that would take EFFORT

  • The old ways of doing things obviously does not work. So change is inevitable. Go Obama and any forward thinkers Democrat or Republican.

  • Let the govt control health the same idiots who said no need to test geneticly altered food or homromen enriched livestock. Let the govt conor the market and remove more freedoms by allowing them to ban foods. Complete control of health is not freedom nor will it be safe or cheap

  • Again, there is testing because of what? Oh yeah there were problems with the previous policies. Hmm change again which was beneficial to the masses not the minority.

  • Bailing out AIG GM CHRY BANKS those are all the "rich you think bush took care of" Robbing the tax payers and pissing the money away is destructive to the poor and will result to the death of the middle class under heavy tax and further the gap with the rich and the poor. Obama is looking out for the rich guy isnt he

  • i guess acorn is rich people

  • acorn is the equlevent of obamas storm trropers. At every rally for Hc you will find people with Acorn T's shouting for obama care. Often i have found they never read the bill they are just supposed to come and support it. If that makes them rich i guess it could but i dont know

  • So what healtcare reform has the Republican party come up with? Oh they didn't. The old system is broken and and people like Rick Perry have and will continue to spiral the country downward. While watching town hall meeting yesterday, noticed that what Obama is planning to spend on healtcare reform is less than what Bush spent on taking life namely the Iraq war. So money to save lives versus money to take lives and subjugate a culture for profit. Where are the WMDs? Who trained the Taliban?

  • You couldnt be more ignorant to the HC situation. Obama isnt a forward thinker he is a socialist. the consitution was put in place to keep the govt under control so the people of america can stay free and independent not become dependent on the govt. HC is not a right. its a good. Aover priced good but a good none the less.

  • First of all the constitution was written for the freedoms of White Men. What this means is that if you were not white male, then you had no rights. It also stated that Black Men and Women were less than a whole white man. And what happened with that? Oh yeah change. So let's not try to rely on an imperfect document that did not have all people in mind with its inseption. So socialism is making sure a countries' people who support it have healthcare? So what is capitalism?

  • The consitution was written by white men but no where on the consitution was it stated for white men. Many people get laid off times are tough .We had a welfare state long before the current job market. Lazy people have been free loading for quite some time. Again HC is still a good not a right. Bush looked out for his special interest military organizations. Obama picked up those same policys.

  • Harry Truman said, "The Republicans admire the Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it". I would think that Mr. Perry might agree with this. Texas, whatever you do, don't set the stage to give another one of your dim witted Governors a run for the President of the United States. Just secede and make Perry the Court Jester of Texas, for all I care.

  • Oh yeah, the United States has been in debt since Bush was in office. So obviously what was in place didn't work. People wake up and stop walking around sleep. The program is broke idiot!!! Argh!!!! How do idiots keep getting re-elected? There are more people without than with...You might want to take that into consideration when making decisions that affect families who are trying to survive. If you corner a racoon, it will fight. For those of you that don't get it, do some research. France!!!

  • When bush took office there was no debt we had this thing called a surplus. A war in iraq and mass fear allowed new federal agencys fema homeland security. There was massive govt growth after the staged 9/11. Obama and bush are one in the same. Obama has reinforced bushed policys and refused to expose his crimes wake up to that obama is bush jr and his policys will end america as we know it

  • The difference with Bush and Obama is that Obama doesn't feel the need to debate reform, as opposed to baby bush who only looked out for the rich and well to do. Do a little background on each candidate, and you will see that Obama is more aligned with the common man.

  • The only politician i know of that even fights for freedom and to protect our rights is ron paul. Why dont you look him up If you did background on him your oppinion would change

  • So you turn down money for unemployment and now there is a shortage. Rick Perry is a perfect example of why the American society is in the "crapper". Until we get someone in office that cares about the needs of the many and not the needs of the few. we will continue to fail. Anyone who supports this "backwards" and "selfish" type thinking, needs to look within themselves and figure out why being selfish is ok.

  • well not all texas thinks like u....texas does exist west of I-35

  • capitolism rewards those who go out and do. why should people be rewarded for doing nothing. Why should responsible people pay for the HC of the lazy? What is selfish about going out and getting a job and tring to improve our life. Nothing. The selfish act is kicking back and asking for a handout. Society is in the crapper because we have to depend on the govt for answers. You are capible of making your own decisions you dont need a clown to make them for you. support freedom not oppression

  • It also hurts those who have a problem finding sufficient employment to afford the high premiums of insurance. So a company that lays off a person to increase income means that the person is now relegated to being lazy because his employment was taken away and he/or she is having trouble finding employment? So no insurance because business feels the need to cut jobs to increase profit. Interesting. Now you are labeled lazy because you can't afford insurance.

  • Imposing a national Hc on current business will still result in job losses to pay for HC. Obama bails out gm aig banks even with strong opposition. He dosent even have the support from his own party on the HC issue nor does he have a way to pay for it. He has trippled the debt in only a few months now he wants to sink this country further down into debt. Punishing the workers with taxes and rewarding the lazy or unemployed only encourages people not to work

  • I see that you memorized all the rethuglican talking points well. I love watching the GOP imploding because of their own ignorance and greed. Thanks go to FOX news for giving these sociopaths so much air time so we can see the GOP (Greedy Old Perverts) in action. Your numbers are dwindling quickly and you idiots are doing it to yourselves!

  • I do like how ur post gives no information just a pointless oppinon about my statments. Nice job on stating how NAt HC is a good thing or how fighting for the 10th amendment was a bad thing

  • Amen!We all will fight if it come's to that!!

  • Perry you have this Texans vote

  • Hell yeah, Texas rules.

  • First of all, Mark Davis is an AWESOME, highly intelligent, balanced guy whom I've always appreciated. Secondly, I applaud Rick Perry for standing up against Obama Care and fighting back against Obama, Emanuel, and their cronies who arrogantly think they can force this debacle down the throats of Texans. I love living in a state that has no problem with telling this incompetent clown to F-off.
