Gene acceleration during life can cause the bodies functions to continue on a loop after the heart stops as its programmed. The brain will still have static activity which makes the body move mindlessly. But unless there is a rabies virus implanted into the person, then they wont be a flesh eating zombie, just brain dead until mental death caused by starvation.
@Halonerdful Well the Raccoon City incident may be scary... but it's also a very sad topic. So many people died in that outbreak. I find this music to be quite eerie, too :)

i watched resident evil afterlife and although it had a few elements in the film from re5 i think there wasnt enough zombies in it and i felt it was just missing sumthing but it was ok
i didnt really like extinction cuz they kinda killed with the powers but afterlife was awsome mostly cause they took her powers away. its not liked she needed them anyway. but im still wondering where the executioner came from. his appearance, although awesome, is pretty darn RANDOM. doesnt really make sense to me. still i like it regardless of all the random occurences. also i think they could have done a better job at jills costume at the end of afterlife kinda cheap.
Too bad these games have turned to complete shit......4 and 5 are terrible, not true RE....if you like those games I hope Nemesis breaks down your wall and fucking kills you.

I think the music in itself is a total representation of all that Resident Evil is. The music has a mournful, yet at the same time a beautifully haunting melody....Resident Evil is so awesome

@blehblehoi sorry man but PS2 is over. It's sad because Resident Evil Outbreak online was really fun and good. And I can't buy a PS3 because they are too expensive here.
True, PS2's are dead, and we're trying to get ports for the new gen systems, but if you liked the game, why not help bring it back even if you can't play it yet? One day you may get a 360 or PS3 and then you will have access to the Outbreaks again.

I don't really know myself. We've never gotten any negative from capcom. My guess would be their either weighing the money with their previous launch or are just too lazy at the moment... A third option is that they're already doing it but is saving it for a surprise. I don't really know, though. Don't get your hopes flaring.
Yes, theres very few games of intros that make you just wonder and take you to the past. This game and File 2 are one of the few to make the mind wonder :).
I want to play File 2 online now. I can only play single player. Still a very fun game though! They need to make a single player RE game with outbreak's mechanics.
Console games work out of the box. You don't get that with PCs. The top of the line game this year might work great on your PC but next year you might be droppin 500 for a new graphix card or an extra 100 for more RAM because the system requirements have exceeded what you own. You are ALWAYS having to spend more $s to upgrade your PC so it can run the next gen software.
Even though you might have to miss out on the Mods, at least you know your frame rate will be good on a console system.
I rather keep a good technical employed job and do that and be able to come up with new maps and mods for my games rather than play the same original version of it a thousand times
That is simply not the case. I built a reasonably high end system about a year and a half ago but it was not top of the line. It still runs all current games at full specs. With pc's there is the initial investment but from then on its only parts upgrades every 3 years and you will be at the top bracket. Console games need to be tweaked non stop as the console gets older to work. A game on a console runs at a lower framrate, with lower textures and lower resolution than the same game on pc.
stop rambling for a a 3rd game installment of this for you guys precious seventh generation other priced consoles...SOME OF US CAN'T AFFORD!....we need a PC port so we don't have to worry about the lazy server hoster's quitting the job to host....and they'll always bee the Eighth Generation of Consoles PS4 Xbox whatever etc. By the way I rather buy a nice cheap 100-200 japanese ps2 to play on the servers of the hard working japanese who havn't shut these game servers down yet! than to buy
their over priced 250-300 maybe more or so for how big the hard drive is...anyways...enough of my rambling...in the end PC games always win becuase your not forced to buy anything half the time for further development...its called modding wich consoles can never acheive...unless that is the ps4 will turn into your computer?..oh i'd love to have one of them terminators
There NEEDS to be an Outbreak 3. Think about it, with another Outbreak CVapcom's sales would skyrocket! It would be in their benefit and the fans to make a third installment.
With the online capabilities of the PS3 and Xbox360 it would be insane if they devoted the third to the online world and sales just might come close if not higher than Resident Evil 5. Or if ur a huge dreamer than the outbreak characters, with Outbreak scenarios but with RE5 controls.
Hahaha thanks man! But really it's just what I've noticed. I mean I love the Outbreak games because of how fun they were but I know how the online of it was terrible. But seeing that almost every other PS3, and Xbox360 games have an online mode I thought "Hey...what about another Outbreak?"

Psh the most you can take on a Scenario is 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you cant pass a level within that time then you suck. EIther you need to lower the level or you need to see a guide on puzzles. Puzzles change depending on level!
It does not mean you suck, If you get hit by enemies for example the timer decreases and sickness increases, Or if you like exploring and play cool instead of be a douche and go. "I NEED TO FINISH GAME IN 5 MINS OR I RAGEQUIT".

why boost the Xbox360 and PS3 populus any higher...their are thoughs who can't afford to upgrade every 4 years you know...i think i'll save my money for the ps4 ;) you may think their won't but just you wait and comment back to be in 3 years or so...for kids like me you know how fast it fly's by
Actually StuartTheGamerNerd...I can't afford that stuff either. It was a fluke when i realized I had enough money for the PS3 so i took that opportunity andd haven't looked back since. I understand wheere ur coming from but still....
I'm just saying it would be nice to see a third installment for the XBox360 or the PS3. Who knows depending on how it went with those consoles another installment might be seen in future consoles.

Hm true. I suppose the magic that made the Outbreak agems came from it's game setup and controls. Putting Resident Evil 5 controls in it would be interesting but won't capture the raw gameplay outbreak offers. But hey it's definitely an interesting discussion to say the very least.
Personally, I could care less if it was RE5 controls, the original outbreak controls or whatever, if a third outbreak is to be released, it would definitely be in my hands :D I would be absolutely THRILLED! hahaha!
Sad capcom closed server support for both games... :'( assholes I loved those games! File 1 and 2 were great and those greedy assholes held up file 3 in japland and never released it in the US, there are leaked copies on the internet but are almost impossible to use without mod chips, pal consoles and Japanese know how
You've got Capcom, Sony and Nintendo big whoop we have Valve, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Bohemia Interactive, RockStar, Activision, GSC Gameworld, Massive Entertainment, and many many other game companies.
I would very much go to Japan and play those games then all the huge varieties America has. Im sorry thats just your opinion. Valve and Microsoft has failed in my opinion on various games.
I know what L4D is I fucking own it... but Valve has been working on L4D since CSS was out because they saw people making "Zombies" in servers and battling them and Valve said "We need a game like this so we can make money!" And so they conceived l4d
Outbreak was a horrible game.. I only played the first level - didn't even bother getting through it before I turned it off. I love Resident Evil 4 - now THAT's a great game! :)
actually...there would have never been a file #3 anyway. Think about it, out of eight characters, 6 escape...how do you make a scenario with only 2 players.
Also...it was actually due to the lack of servers that File #2 didn't sell. The Japan and NA servers hadn't been turned on when the game was released there. But the EU server was turned on when the Euro version of the game was released.
In other words: most people bought the game to play online.

Outbreak File 1 & 2 have to be the most underrated Resident Evil games...
They probably got the survival horror aspect off the best in any RE game. This game was fucking amazing, and so is this song.

stop rambling for a a 3rd game installment of this for you guys precious seventh generation other priced consoles...SOME OF US CAN'T AFFORD!....we need a PC port so we don't have to worry about the lazy server hoster's quitting the job to host....and they'll always bee the Eighth Generation of Consoles PS4 Xbox whatever etc. By the way I rather buy a nice cheap 100-200 japanese ps2 to play on the servers of the hard working japanese who havn't shut these game servers down yet! than to buy

their over priced 250-300 maybe more or so for how big the hard drive is...anyways...enough of my rambling...in the end PC games always win becuase your not forced to buy anything half the time for further development...its called modding wich consoles can never acheive...unless that is the ps4 will turn into your computer?..oh i'd love to have one of them terminators

There NEEDS to be an Outbreak 3. Think about it, with another Outbreak CVapcom's sales would skyrocket! It would be in their benefit and the fans to make a third installment.
With the online capabilities of the PS3 and Xbox360 it would be insane if they devoted the third to the online world and sales just might come close if not higher than Resident Evil 5. Or if ur a huge dreamer than the outbreak characters, with Outbreak scenarios but with RE5 controls.

Hahaha thanks man! But really it's just what I've noticed. I mean I love the Outbreak games because of how fun they were but I know how the online of it was terrible. But seeing that almost every other PS3, and Xbox360 games have an online mode I thought "Hey...what about another Outbreak?"
Just pondering it and thinking of the possibilities....man...they just kept coming! So chalk one up for day dreaming hahahaha

Psh the most you can take on a Scenario is 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you cant pass a level within that time then you suck. EIther you need to lower the level or you need to see a guide on puzzles. Puzzles change depending on level!

It does not mean you suck, If you get hit by enemies for example the timer decreases and sickness increases, Or if you like exploring and play cool instead of be a douche and go. "I NEED TO FINISH GAME IN 5 MINS OR I RAGEQUIT".

Actually StuartTheGamerNerd...I can't afford that stuff either. It was a fluke when i realized I had enough money for the PS3 so i took that opportunity andd haven't looked back since. I understand wheere ur coming from but still....
I'm just saying it would be nice to see a third installment for the XBox360 or the PS3. Who knows depending on how it went with those consoles another installment might be seen in future consoles.
And I'm discussing not rambling :P but still. It would be nice.

Hm true. I suppose the magic that made the Outbreak agems came from it's game setup and controls. Putting Resident Evil 5 controls in it would be interesting but won't capture the raw gameplay outbreak offers. But hey it's definitely an interesting discussion to say the very least.
Personally, I could care less if it was RE5 controls, the original outbreak controls or whatever, if a third outbreak is to be released, it would definitely be in my hands :D I would be absolutely THRILLED! hahaha!

File 1 and 2 were great and those greedy assholes held up file 3 in japland and never released it in the US, there are leaked copies on the internet but are almost impossible to use without mod chips, pal consoles and Japanese know how

L4D isn't a CS:S mod, it's a GAME built on the Source engine, and it was released LAST YEAR. You're thinking of zombie mod and/or zombie horde.

Outbreak was a horrible game.. I only played the first level - didn't even bother getting through it before I turned it off. I love Resident Evil 4 - now THAT's a great game! :)

actually...there would have never been a file #3 anyway. Think about it, out of eight characters, 6 escape...how do you make a scenario with only 2 players.
Also...it was actually due to the lack of servers that File #2 didn't sell. The Japan and NA servers hadn't been turned on when the game was released there. But the EU server was turned on when the Euro version of the game was released.
In other words: most people bought the game to play online.
