Thanks for posting this video... My wife and I went to visit our two elder sons in San Francisco this past September, We had a great time with them as we drove around City just like in this video! I must say that Scott McKenzies If you're going to San Francisco kept running through my head most of the time we were there. I must say this though, Kansas City is more my speed... SF is a beautiful city - We'll go back,,, to visit.

710 Ashbury was under construction when I last visited (2007)....I was able to score an awesome $40 eighth of skunk bud and ten hits of L for $3 a piece.....I ate a couple, then drove to my alma mater, Sonoma State University...There was a war protest there and I decided to check it out. Apparently the military (March AFB?) caught wind and did a fly-by overhead with a couple F-22's.....They were flying so low that it was obviously a tribute to the protest. They circled tightly and then took off
I wish i was smart enough to make a video clip and add music. I can do one or the other, but not both at the same time. FYI the "overhung windows" are called window seats. They were used when folks did not have cars but road on horses and in buggies. People inside the houses would sit at the window on their window seat looking out while waiting for company to come by and go out on the town for some fun. No kiddin
So home sick, missing S.F. Surfing Ocean Beach, Linda Mar but just the vibe of the place. Maybe a couple of years I'll be able to get back...I recently escaped Las Vegas after two LONG years, now in L.A...but I know I'll get back to the Bay.

@slippan21 I dont know if you noticed at 5:57 is a nicely customized Green Nissan Silvia S13,with golden brown rims which really looks like a drift car. Just saying :)
@OlyMallRat, not firm believers as such, but maybe the architecture is just different from what you have been familiar with. The overhung windows have some purpose, such as being able to see 180° of the surroundings without peering oneself out of the window. You're welcome to visit and see San Francisco for yourself. You would probably realize after all that Victorian homes could be just as pleasant as what you have been used to seeing. :)
