  • He looks like hes reading a script tha fuck.

  • All I hear is "HURRDURR BUY R OVERPRICED SHIT"

  • bllblbllskafsdaf

    my brain

  • his face says it all. "oh god i dont kow what im doing im fucking retarded"

  • this is bullshit

  • I bet daddy sent a lot of money on this dumb ass education

  • there is no difference in picture quality between a 1$ cable and amonster cable. That's physics, stupid!

  • fake and gay

  • i got a £5 gold plated hdmi and i bought a £50 monster gold plated hdmi

    my £5 is better

    MONSTER SCAM

  • Me:copper is analog?! and what do you use for your monster cables.

Read these cards guy: 100% kryptonite! uh doi!

Me: thats a made up rock from super man.

Read these cards guy: Shush! dont tell.

  • Monster Cable products are fantastic, and everyone who is saying otherwise is either to young and uneducted, or to cheap to spend money on a quality cable. This guy explains it 100% accurate for the rate of data and travelling information. If you pick up a book and read about what he is saying, you will feel quite stupid for doubting this technology.

  • @HitmanHart78 Actually, anyone with any interest in this stuff realizes Monster cables are full of shit. I'm an engineering student specializing in digital techonology - believe me, I've studied this stuff. While he gives a simplified version of slew rates, this is an effect that can't be noticed unless the distances are in the 25+ feet. Few people need those.

If you need a 6-8 foot HDMI cable, there's absolutely no sense spending more than 10$ on it. Buying a 150$ cable is just insanity.

  • @MrNoepoe Is Mediabridge a good brand of cable to buy from?

  • @Moviemakerfilms I have no personal experience with that brand, so I can't say anything about the quality directly. Most of their cables seem overpriced (3 ft. HDMI cable $9.49), but I didn't find any bad reviews. They'll probably work - just at a higher price.

I've heard most people buying their High-Speed HDMI cables from stores like Monoprice for < $5 and having them work just fine. Unless you're doing a really long wall installation or need a 50 ft. cable outdoors, go for the cheaper ones.

  • He;s basically right, although he's exaggerating massively. 25ft plus where the problems begin to manifest, at 50ft, you need a thicker 26awg rather than the typical 28 or even 30awg. But otherwise, it's all business hustle, and respect the game folks...

  • HEY THERE KEITH ROGERS!

  • Do you see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass!

  • That's cool and all, but I'm not paying $200 for fucking cable. You people are mental if you think your bullshit will fool people into buying your products.

  • I got a $3 HDMI cable from Newegg. I looks just as good as a $80 Monster Cables

  • well, he is a sales-rep, no a scientist. bullshit is what he does for living

  • I have a 2 dollar hdmi cable i bought on the street and it works just as good as the minster for ps3: running black ops on 1080p

  • Looks like some one didn't took math class -_-

  • People dont buy Monster HDMI cables its a rip off copy and paste this :)

  • Seriously, take down this video. You're embarrassing yourself!

  • total BS, DIGITAL ckts have error correction built in, blah blah blah. HDMI wires are made to the HDMI standard, thus a $4 one works like a $1100 one, no HDMI cable for home use is worth what these guys charge, MCMELECTRONICScom or partsexpresscom have all teh high quality HDMI cables and every other wire ya need, priced for earth. The only thing MONSTER here is the absurd prices for nonsense

  • Copper is an analog medium??? What the fuck is this guy on?? THIS IS BULLSHIT !

  • hey people dont be fool...the best thing you can do is to buy both $100 hdmi cable and $10 hdmi cable. test it to your own home theater and listen to it, using your familiar blu ray movie on the same scene of action, what i found is no difference. and i return the $100 hdmi cable and keep the $10 hdmi. so test it by yourself!

  • Hey my free HDMI cable from DirecTV works great!!

  • Everything he says here really is true. The signal transition is slower at the end of the copper cable and poor quality cables make it harder to distinguish a one or a zero. But what he fails to mention is that there are standards here. When a cable passes the HDMI specification it will work. Putting any effort into improving that cable is "wasted". While monster cables might give you better analog performance, all you get are the same ones and zeros and your pockets emptied.

  • Holy shit gold plated HDMI cables? Almost every hdmi under $10 i've seen has been gold plated.

  • I have the playstation brand HDMI cable and i have never had the "sparkle" or dropouts and i only paid $25.

  • <-- owns monster cable 1000, & uhhh i hate the shit, paid $140 for it, but when its in my ps3 its not very snug so my screen flickers sometimes and or goes blank. i plan on just getting a cheap one, least then it will fit snug....

  • ¡Morón!

  • Idiot.

  • Do high speed hdmi cables stop video game flickering and other forms of flickering? How do i stop flickering on games like red dead redemption? Is it even possible?

  • Do Monster sell SATA cables for my PC? I need to improve my data quality on my computer! That way ALL my sound will be better! And all my videos will have higher quality! And gaming will be so much better! After all my 1.5 Gbps SATA cable must have HUNDREDS of errors since it only cost me £3 for 30 cm. Now I see the light.

  • His theories only worth mentioning if your cable is literally miles long. Monster are a complete scam who have been blacklisted by sites like engadget for overpricing and misleading consumers. There store comparisons of there HDMI cables used to be compared using component cables on the other tv which are inferior to HDMI. Monster $500 hdmi is no different to walmarts $10 hdmi if the distance is what 99% people have ie. 5m max.

  • does the price of an hdmi cable really matter?

  • @KhmaiBodian559 NO! not unles your cable needs to be a mile long.

  • the fact of the matter is this you all hate monster because you wish you had the money to go buy it but you don't and that the bottom line

  • @jonboy2120 I wish to had the money to buy a "Monster cable", so I could buy a Porsche. You are right.

  • What annoys me the most is how these people assume everyone is a fucking retard.

I took Digitial Systems I and II.

Why are you drawing a digital signal, then an analog signal? They're different you retard!!!

A digital signal will NEVER look like an analog signal. It's like comparing a car to an elephant.

  • @pvtjamesryan3 They think people are retards because they are (tech) retards. And actually a digital data stream will at sometime turns to a analog signal. Even it it is because the human being only have analog inputs. The difference is that in digital logic you can, if conditions are respected, recover the 100% original signal after transmitting it over a analog media.

  • Monster HDMI is certified by the ISF right? What test were done that other HDMI cables failed..

  • Actually, to all you people who say he is talking a load of bs, you should go take a masters in computer science then come back and choke on your own words. What he says does make sense, i changed my hdmi cable from a silver connector to the gold plated connector for my blue ray and sky+HD and the difference was very noticeable. An hamielec, shut ur gob u f*ck-tard. Any normal person can tell the difference between component and HDMI you need thicker lenses! C*nt!

  • Monster Cables = Monster Scam!

  • God I want to punch him so hard I hate people who spew total bs to try and sell their outrageous garbage!

  • What a load of crap!...this guy needs a lesson in practical physics. Unless you're running a cable thats yards or even miles long, it wont make a difference. I dont care if you have a 1000hz system, that still will not even come close to competing against the timing a signal at the speed of light needs to travel through a typical 6 footer. The average person can't even tell the difference between component and hdmi so forget this shit

  • @hamielec if some one cant see the difference between component and hdmi they obviously havent watched a blu ray

  • Its incredible how people believe that their intuitive knowledge is enough to pose as if they know a subject matter. The science behind digital transfer through an analog medium is much more complicated then what people are making it seem. Things to consider impedance, conduction, twisted pair, transfer rate... There are picture difference between cables not only in sparkles but color accuracy too a side by side comparison easily shows this. Stop spreading the ignorance.

  • @Aerandir09 Trust me, I'm no newbie to electronics...its my profession. Most hd content is compressed...no matter how much they tell you its not. I know the Monster cable is a much better cable but people don't care how good a cable is...This isn't a space shuttle. People care about the quality of the audio and video and unless you can provide some research that shows that PEOPLE not computers can differentiate this using 6 foot cables on typical tvs and that its worth the price....forget it!

  • you should kill yourself for posting this complete bullshit

  • oh mercy what a load of crap!!!! AHHAHAHAHA!!!! So many people buy this shit. If you arent getting all the 1 or 0's then you will notice an obvious loss of signal represented in flecks or sparkles on your screen. ANY....AND I SAY ANY HDMI CABLE that is HDMI 1.3 can carry any signal up to at least 16 feet.(as far as ive tested). Buy cheap and save money. This guy has nooooo idea what he is talking about!

  • How bout HDMI 1.4?

  • 1.4 just allows for networking capabilities as of now i believe

  • god these cables are so damn expensive

  • "Over a long run..."

Yeah - all the people I know keep their receiver 100 yards from their TV.

  • Some people keep all of their components hidden in a closet on the other side of the room.

  • yea same here...lol
