The US should only have the right to take down the copyrighted material, not the website the material is on, especially if the website isn't US owned. If I understand correctly, the US shut down Megaupload, run by a German man living in New Zealand, and they were able to get away with this because apparently one of the many servers might have been in the US. So, apparently they can arrest anyone anywhere without SOPA, which is quite the interesting situation...
