To try to sustain our work we try to work with people like your good self for mutual benefit. We wondered if you had any artwork you could donate together with a short written piece about your donation and your other work that we could hang the artwork & description in our small gallery for sale to raise funds for the Centre. "I cannot be bothered with a background" Story of my life!
I'm not all that interested in a highly developed, realistic background. First, I feel like I'm not strong enough to create a background that doesn't look like it's competing with the foreground. And second, I prefer a simplistic painting where I can just focus on the beauty/essence of the animal(s) in that make up the forground.
** If this was bigger, I'd totally hang it up on my wall.
thanks for this vid! Im trying to get more clear with only using watercolours, since till today I´ve been mixing it with pencil ones + pastels (once even with oil paint!) :) Hopefully this´ll help with my current picture ^ ^ btw you a member in Deviantart??
that's really good! i'm trying to get into painting now too- i suck, haha. I'll start something and then just abandon it in the middle... haha, anyways really nice vid!
