  • God better hurry up and save me because Im drowning.

  • Oh Yeah,, the devil and I have talks everyday, I don't ever hear God trying to get in my ear, not all peoples circumstances allows you to believe that God is looking after you, he knows my suffering and knows Ive had it all my life and what it has done to me inside, why then does he allow it, what good does it do but to keep you broken, why doesn't he send the help, its easy to believe in something but what does a broken person believe in, Ive seen too much suffering to believe in anything.

  • God punishing me for watching these shitty clips

  • i think he means that God doesn't forcefully come down and beat us, it can be taken that way. however yes, God does discipline those He loves--be by letting consequences happen or anything else. he should have used prov. 3:12, either he didnt remember or he is making God a mushy God which isnt right. i cant judge, im not sure of exactly everything in detail what he believes

  • ". . . the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in." Prov. 3:12

  • ......Cmon mark how on earth do you miss the verses that say got disciples his children and chastises them........you gotta mention those in this kind of topics........Mark needs to seriously step down from preaching.

  • Spare the rod ...

Beat your kids for the Jesus cult!

  • amen

  • No, he (small h) doesn't punish anyone. Tough to do when you don't exist.

  • Suffering is caused by sin. Whether it's our sin or someone else's sin, suffering is caused by sin. God does not cause suffering. And because there is suffering, that doesn't mean that God isn't good. God isn't everything either. He made everything, and he made us with the capacity for evil. Because if he didn't then we couldn't CHOOSE to love him, we would be forced to love him. But love is persuasive, not coersive. Forcing someone to do something doesn't equal love. God gave us a choice.

  • C'mon. if god is everything that means good and evil. You dont get to pick and choose to fit your belief. Why does god then choose help when he feels like it but when its war time innocent kids have to die. I think jesus knew we are all apart of some thing great and when he shared it they killed his ass. But not the same jesus of the bible, a real man that taught everyone how to use our natural gifts. Not spells or magic, but real gifts we ALL posses

  • @AwakeningMindz Evil only exists in thoughts, words and actions. States and matter are only good. Existence and only existence exists. The bad stuff(other than in human thoughts, words and actions) is only perceived nonexistence. The nonexistence of wealth, provision,, health, strength, ability, opportunity, etc.

  • Are you all insane read Hebrews 12: 5 to 12 number 6 puts it best "because the lord disciplines those who he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son." Clearly this man is teaching wrong he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. GOD PUNISHES EVERYONE HE ACCEPTS AS A SON wow get that.

  • loooooool I know he didn't mean it but at the begining, look at his arms "God is not good (left arm) and evil (right arm)... he's good (right arm)" like insinuating that he's both so we don't notice...

  • If God is good and all-powerful, then the existence of evil infringes upon either is goodness or omnipotence. Theodicy as divine pedagogy has many problems because it would lead to ethical quietism. I like Mark's conclusion in answering the practical application of suffering. However, he doesn't fully answer why we suffer, or rather he avoids it.

  • I needed this

  • but He disciplines His children

  • A father disciplines the ones he loves : )

  • Yes, you guys are correct...

    God disciplines us...

People dont know the difference between the two? Punishment? or Discipline? they read the two words and they blend them together into the same meaning? "PAIN or UNPLEASANTNESS"

Punishment is done to a "CRIMINAL" who breaks the law... its done out of Logic and reason!

Discipline is done to a love one who has gone astray... which is done out of love!

  • @kaffehart Disciplines by hell fire for all eternaity for but a few moments in history nthat you made a few mistake.. Yeah, great guy that god of religion... lol

  • Amen to that!! God loves us. He doesn´t punish us because he punished his Holy Son in the Cross...

We only reap the natural consequences of our sin if we continue sinning

  • Well put bull1504.

  • @bull1504 Nonsense - your statement self-evidently the most abject nonsense!

  • I Agree with this. HaHo !
