Wow, took the idea straight from my mind (though I wasn't going to go for the desktop gadgets I was going to make one for the iGoogle ones)

This is a feature Sony definetely needs to add to both the PSP and PS3 (especially since they have the Mylo and HDTVs with widgets).

Do you have homebrew enabled PSPs? (like CFW M33)

It's very experimental and most of gadgets must be patched to run on it, and

because it has no error consoles yet, it's hard to find out why gadgets you tried are not working.
