@shakalamon LaBrie is an excellent singer in his own right, it's just that next to Allen's far more dramatic mid-range he sounds like a total pussy. At their level of vocal skill, I think they're just too different to call one "better". One thing is for sure, though, and that is that Burton C. Bell is fucking insane or utterly deluded to step onto a stage with those two.

@antonio610 haha, well personal taste aside (i still love James mid in this) I agree Allen does have a very dramatic mid which is awesome and one of his best assets, unlike Labrie's highs and soft stuff which is where he dominates. But I completely agree with that, Burton C. Bell failed on a monstrous level, without being next to 2 world class vocalists, the fact he was next to them just adds to the rediculousness of his attempt at singing.

I'll admit that it wasn't anywhere near the original quality but Dave was close to Dimebag back in the day and he apparently decided to pay his respects like any good musician would: with his music. I don't think arrogance had anything to do with it, he's definitely improved his image from the past and he's doing much better musically.

@HereticChild Being a professional musician for most of my life, and having played with Dimebag before, I can tell you that Dave Mustaine has never been anywhere near the guitarist that Dime was. Dave writes great rythms and songs, but his soloing lacks style, it lacks precision, it lacks following scales. He was there because he knew Dime, he actually asked dime to join megadeth before they hired Marty Friedman, but Dime wouldn't join without his brother coming along as well, Dave refused.
