While sports and afterschool activities are a great outlet, homework in moderation helps to reinforce the lesson taught in school. A healthy balance between the two should be your goal in life. When involved parents sit and oversee the homework, it keeps them informed as to what their kids are learning. As a parent, I find fun ways to help reinforce what my kids are learning, we even do field trips! Best wishes
i don't want to invalidate yow opinion coz @ som points ur right... but just think of the family tym the school is stealing from the kids (well unless if ur not into family stuff realy) and it's obviously unfair.... the kids are spending half of their day at school and i tink they should be given a break.....
