Do you know if you can catch a pokemon like Ekan's or Meowth with the same type of glitch you used to get Scyther? I think this would be pretty intresting if you could, that and helpful, mentioning the fact you cannot catch either in the game of Pokemon Yellow.

i would like to point out that first glitch mess up, the SECOND time you do that glitch, it will give you a random pokemon, not mew, so that is the reason why you didnt find mew

When I did a glitch playthrough of Yellow about four years ago (on an original system and cartridge, not on video sadly), Z4 was my prime player in the Elite 4.

maybe the ditto transformed its stats to the magneton. So it would be a speed tie?

@MissingnoXpert Transform puts you at +1 speed on the next turn. So it outspeeds you that turn only.

Unless that only happens in gen IV up.

AKA: Ditto use transform. It transformed. it outsped(cuz of +1). it out sped(cuz it won speed tie.)
