I don't think Link speaking would be such a disaster. We've heard him, uh, emote ever since Ocarina. I don't have any light to shed on what this may be, other than that Wikipedia says Nintendo is developing a new game for Wii(or maybe the next system, knowing their habit of dragging their feet on the home console Zelda games).

Many people don't know this but three games of Zelda were made for the panisonic system nintendo joined with them to try and make game disks instead of caltriges but they pulled out and panisonic made three Zelda games cause they had the rights to do so that is more. Than likely were it's from they gave link a voice and made him like the animated series version

Researched more. It is from a Drama CD, the Link to the Past Drama CD. The whole Audio is Link's retelling of what happened to his parents (in the link to the past game), how he met Zelda, and up to the part where he has to save Zelda from Agahnim and Ganon.
