I play the beta's from aion, it's an OK game but it's to similar to WoW, they stole alot of things and ideas of blizzard + after playing a while u'll realise that better should stick to WoW because it's more awsome and has more posibilities ingame. Not going to buy the game after the open beta
Haha, I beg the differ. WoW was a lot of fun, but it is quite outdated now. It has had its best time, and I doubt cataclysm will change that much. Plus, you should remember that Blizzard stole/copied a lot of ideas from other MMORPG, and incorporated them in their own populair Warcraft themed one.

They're buttons, they almost all look the same in any MMO. The play style for the interface is way different. Rather than spamming a skill because its the best for DD or RDPS you're completing complex skill chains. Constantly attacking without the spam aspect. It's great.

in this video theres no steering, you can tell by the way the player was strolling the camera view midflight. it was a predetermined flight path, when it was finished, the wings poofed. there may be a way to control your flight, but it is not shown in that video.

wings arent for transportation as the flight time is limited, they are used for strategy in PvE/PvP. Some quests are in the air, some NPC's, etc...you can have combat in PvP and use it as a way to get away from enemies, but classes can chase you, others can knock you out of the air, etc..Its also both WASD and click to move

lol no. from what NCsoft and NCseoul have said. wings are gotten at lvl 10-which is also the time you become a daeva and gain your second class ranking(mage to sorcerer or Spirit master etc.) and the proposed lvl cap well be around 50.
It would make a good anime if it's popular enough it might even become one. Devil may cry has it's pwn anime so we know games can get it if popular enough. Also this game reminds me of legend of dragoon! which is a huge plus.

Free is nice, but free does not keep the MMO part of the game running, servers are super expensive and require tons of maintencing and work to keep your game lagless and running. the net connection has to be huge, imagin all the users logging in and out to the server. updates, unless you want them to have 10 expansions per year, costing about 49.99$ instead of FREE. $15 is reasonable, if not play on a prvate server, wich does not support the fast services and responces and updates.
I guess, if we all want to look at this [awesome and stunning] mmorpg that way, we should be happy if it has a monthly fee. It'll keep gameplay crisp and clear. I mean, a free mmorpg that goes no where and plays lousy isn't much fun, so we might as well pay for a good one ^-^

I love it when MMO's actually have a storyline to them. The cinema's and music is like an upgraded version of FFXI, and that's not a bad thing at all.
the game looks really good. it has the look and feel of lineage2 witch is a lot harder then wow. i played lineage2 for a while lvl 70 sword singer. i have been playing wow since then and have 70 human lock. but i do miss some of the true pvp and hard fight ncsoft games offer.
In this video, I don't think so. But ncsoft said in a recent interview that they have implemented free-flying by popular demand, so you will be controling your character :D

This game will owns it coming to Europe in May 2008 (if i am right) and it will me the best mmorpg that have ever released so far with extreme high graphic and very good gameplay also because some asking lineage 3 will come out 2011 i think it will be good :)

Free is nice, but free does not keep the MMO part of the game running, servers are super expensive and require tons of maintencing and work to keep your game lagless and running. the net connection has to be huge, imagin all the users logging in and out to the server. updates, unless you want them to have 10 expansions per year, costing about 49.99$ instead of FREE. $15 is reasonable, if not play on a prvate server, wich does not support the fast services and responces and updates.

I guess, if we all want to look at this [awesome and stunning] mmorpg that way, we should be happy if it has a monthly fee. It'll keep gameplay crisp and clear. I mean, a free mmorpg that goes no where and plays lousy isn't much fun, so we might as well pay for a good one ^-^

Those dudes at the beginning are not the Fallen, i think they are the krall, but im not sure. The fallen are a playable race, and those are not them.

i dont know what you mean by "crap animations" mentaltubes, this game is the best looking mmo out there. and keep in mind its resolution is being resized to fit the youtube screen, so ofcorse it doesnt look like the accutal game.
from what ive read, its not going to so much be a grindfest and have more to do with sotryline.
this game is not yet out for the us .. that may be why you cant find a download kimbiyo02 -.-
all in all this game looks like its going to pwn.

I love it when MMO's actually have a storyline to them. The cinema's and music is like an upgraded version of FFXI, and that's not a bad thing at all.

the game looks really good. it has the look and feel of lineage2 witch is a lot harder then wow. i played lineage2 for a while lvl 70 sword singer. i have been playing wow since then and have 70 human lock. but i do miss some of the true pvp and hard fight ncsoft games offer.

In this video, I don't think so. But ncsoft said in a recent interview that they have implemented free-flying by popular demand, so you will be controling your character :D

looks totally awesome, but u need to much time to kill a mob, and this is not a problem being alone, but this will be an mmorpg, u will be with so much ppl around, then grind fest will be horrible, ohh and what about the amount of mana, u use a lot of skills for just one mob

looks boring fighting is slow, flying attracts people but its just a cool scene of you moving wasting your time, the same visual attack also appears. hopefully they improve this

I agree. So far (if you took out the wings) it looks barely different from Guild Wars or WoW. They really need to pull a few original strings to set this apart from others
