Love your recipe! I made it and it was awsome but then I started experimenting, if you add some chicken bolium and nutmeg it makes it even more like olive gardens soup! I am way determined to make there soup lol! thank you for the recipee!! :D
what about the chicken... is it already prepared or do we have to buy and cook it ... if so how to cook it and what's the best way to prepare the chicken?
Thanks for posting this! Olive Garden's chicken gnocchi is my favorite soup but I've been too "chicken" to try making it myself-- until now. I've had the gnocchi for 2 months and now that the weather has cooled down considerably, it's perfect timing. Thanks again.
I love gnocchi but never thought of putting it in soup. I just made this tonight and I loved it! I used low sodium chicken broth and a can of evaporated milk instead of half and half (it's a maritime thing).
@caraleanne13 i was bad and used 'paul's extra light cream' lol. i'm thinking next time (definitely a next time!) i am going to try that carnation light and creamy stuff, its pretty good :) but not until right, right at the end otherwise it can separate. heaps cheaper too!
oh my goodness...... i made this (from australia so it took a little converting lol) and it is UNFREAKING BELIEVABLY AMAZING!!!!! YUUUUM!!! i am eating it as leftovers for lunch right now lol
This looks delicious... I am totally going to make this next week... we get our CSA veggies tomorrow so I am excited to see if we can use some of it for this !
Thank you so much for sharing this, we have never even heard of gnocchi before. I made it tonight for dinner and everyone loved it. Best of all, I took your advice and made it with chicken that I roasted whole.
Hi :) I wanna try this out, but no one can translate me the "1 quat half and half" not even my best friend google! Hope you can help me!!! Thank you :)
I made this the other night, it came out amazing! I couldn't find gnocchi so I used tiny basil and cheese ravioli and loved it! definitely one of my new favorites!
It was awesome! Big hit with my toddler. Thanks for sharing! And it's super easy. I actually did half of the half an half and the rest with 1%milk. And you were not kidding about filling.
Just put this on my meal plan for next week. I am so glad your cooking videos are back. YOu help me save so much money. I cook a chicken like you did in a past video and we ate 5 meals off of it. AMAZING> I think my food bill for that week was only like $25!!! Keep them coming. Quick ? Are you going to make meals to freeze for when you have baby? I would love to see what your choices would be!!!!
@ryari27 There are 3 videos. Saving Money & Eating Organic: Simple way to Roast a Chicken, Saving Money & Eating Organic: Homeade Gravy, Saving Money & Eating Organic: Storing and Using Leftover Chicken. We ate lots of chikcen that week but we had Enchiladas, Homemade Soup, roasted chicken, Chicken Speg, and Chicken baked Zitti. All meals had left over for lunch the next day as well. So no money was spent on go out to lunch!!! Hope this helps!!!
@xoxBellFamilyxox Awe, I am so glad!!! Wow $25 is AWESOME! I need to work on getting mine back down... $100 or less I am thrilled but really even at $125 we save- it's crazy!
Ya... I already do a ton of freezer cooking... a girlfriend of mine and myself have gotten really into it the last few months. I talk about it a lot on my blog- candidmommy(dot)blogspot(dot)com (=
