Things are already starting to heal. The Vikings poor season and Green Bay about to win the Super Bowl, and of couse Aaron Rodgers play, makes things different. Now that #4 is really retired, I think he will ease into the role of the beloved Packer alumni (as long as he stays away from texting floozies). It was sicken watching him play today with the Jets. Same game a year ago in the snow he was great. He is going to retired I don't think he will be able to come back another year and play with the jets.

I'm all the way in California and I have been a Packers fan since i was a kid. I have always loved Brett. When we got ROBBED in the playoffs I didn't want to speak to anyone. The day Brett retired... It saddened me greatly.. COME BACK BRETT!!

Green Bay fans, I bet it was a sad, sad day when Brett Favre retired but for a Detroit Lions fan, it was a good day when he retired. All he did in his 17 years playing was give the Lions grief. Never missing a game, beating the Lions every year at Lambeau, his last minute TD pass to the Shanning Sharpe in the '93 playoffs, and his consectutive completion record against the Lions on Thanksgiving '07. I'm glad that he can't hurt the Lions anymore. The Lions stink but I still like them .

Remember that time Brett Favre played in the NFL, broke every significant record for a quarterback, started every single game for over fifteen years, won a Super Bowl and three MVP awards (and came in 2nd in the voting for a 4th 10 years later), had only one losing season, made the playoffs twelve times, and then retired before anybody took him out?
