Obama and the Democrats have introduced no less than 2 bills that were meant to curb outsourcing and establish an import tariff on all goods manufactured outside the US and sold here. Who voted both bills down? You guessed it, the Republicans
Obama is full of crap...corrupted. IBM is laying off high paying US jobs and hiring low paid overseas workers. A year later, IBM is still off-shoring jobs and Obama is still in denial. Audacity of hope? AH HA HA HA HA! Barry Obama is a big big disappointment. Shame on you Mr. Obama. There is a special place in hell for people like you. People who use the pretense of "Hope" for political ends. And I thought politicians could get no lower.
Who said "change we can believe in"? I didn't say believe in change, I just said that fear mongering was stupid.
By the way, I'm doing fine because I've accepted the way world actually works. Funny how it's easier and flow with the stream than to fight against it.
Facts Dobbs ignores. India bought 2 billion dollars worth of Lockheed planes from America & 1 billion dollar worth Boeing planes this year & announced it will buy billions of dollars worth of power plants from from Westinghouse this year. This will generate massive well paid employment in the U.S. Trade is two ways. Indians consume McDonalds, Starbucks, Nike and every other iconic American brand. As Indians rise we will only consume more American products and thus generate more jobs in America.
2. America needs to ensure that its economic policies are in sync. Check out Daniel Drezner's article "The Outsourcing Boogeymen" in the 2004 May/June issue of Foreign Affairs for more info.
Who said anything about believing in anything? I said that economic policies shouldn't be contradictory, I also insinuated that Lou Dobbs is stupid. How is the economic downturn working out for me; great, thanks for asking.
We are screwed.

I like how these candidates talk populist talk before they get elected, but when they get into office, they do something else.

1. Lou Dobbs should sign up for an introductory economics course before pretending to understand what he's talking about.
