  • This is not unused?! I heard it when I came to the nerutoxin room.

  • and GUESS WHO IT WAS?.. wasn't me.

  • @hyuzuka2 i was his assistant though! :D

  • I think I heard this ingame... May actually be my memory failing me, but I've definitely heard these lines before watching this.

  • =hold on could this be a clue that wheatley was once a human?=

  • IS the voice of wheatley, the voice from the Barclays adverts?

  • @adamwhinyates Yes, yes it is :D

I was pretty excited when I found out about that too

  • @GreenToxicWaffles Mind: Blown.

  • @adamwhinyates same here, adam, same here

  • wai wati, so all the workers at apature got destroyed because of the neurotoxin, since portal 1 i want to know please??

  • @javieralzahome not all i think, because in portal 1 when you destroy her morality core, she says that the core was put on by scientists after she flooded the place with neurotoxin, so not all died.

  • @GreenToxicWaffles oh chese so whwere are theyin that one, there tehre just like in otehr plases and thatnks for answering, you likee kinder thatn ice!!! :D

  • @GreenToxicWaffles of course not, some had to be saved for testing. :P

  • @basalisk335 yeppers :P

  • he is so adorablee _^_^_^____^^^

  • Weird, I DO remember this from inside the game. Might be just a déjà vu but I could swear hearing it ingame... O_o

  • Lol nwrotoxin willy spud?!

  • I dont play Portal much I thought the cake core was Wheatley.

  • actually this is used

  • I think they didn't use this bit of monologue because of two reasons;

-GLaDOS was the one who started the neurotoxin spread, not Wheatley.

-He mentions he was the "assistant" of the guy who worked there, and that makes no sense because then he would have to be a human or something similar to operate the thing.

  • @almacocoa98 But what if he WAS human.......

  • @AboveAllElseLove Don't give people ideas XD

I also think he may have been a human, but just like GLaDOS he can't remember it, dunno.

  • @almacocoa98 Maybe his accident was a separate occasion. Though it begs the question, either way, as to why they made it possible to flood the place with neurotoxin. xD

  • @HoshiSanada Even deeper question! Why the hell they make a huge tank of neurotoxin in the first place? xD It's pointless, mad!

  • @almacocoa98 Your asking for logic from the same company whose CEO (or whoever Cave Johnson was) wanted to create combustible lemons after one of their other creations gave him cancer...

  • @TheBookEscape Touche... XD

  • @TheBookEscape But combustible lemons was a great idea. Think of, whole arms armed with lemons. And who would make money off it? Not the munitions factory. Whoever grows the lemons. Which I presume is farmers. Farmers would be millionaires and wars would be fought with lemons. And lemon juice. But not lemonade.

  • @SRanisoulJB93 True, but his reasoning for thinking them up wasn't the best.

  • @SRanisoulJB93 What the fuck?

  • @almacocoa98 because a huge tank of nerotoxin needs too be in a huge sience lab to help with sience

  • @shotgun1545 I can't help but think they used lemos for this (on the other hand, did you know a lemon can replace a potato in a battery?)

  • @almacocoa98 i think glados asked the scientists for the neurotoxin for a test with cats or something, like the Schrodinger's Cat experiment.

  • No, I definitely heard this on one of my playthroughs.

  • I heard him say it on my game, guess I'm special. :)

  • Is the Neurotoxin Release Button the dislike button?

  • if you turn your head upside down when watching this, you will see annoyed wheatley

  • This isn't unused. I heard this dialogue when I played the game.

  • @KensouX i didnt...

  • wheatley laboratories

  • its still in it on the escape area just stay where the neurotoxin is for a few minutes and he will bring it up if he doesnt look at main tank

  • He does say this. You just have to wait for him to say it. I heard it.

  • @Fiery64 At what part of the game does he say this?

  • @RinxRoadrollers I believe at the part where you have to break the neurotoxin tubes.

  • @Fiery64 Ok, Thanks

  • Epic Fan Theory Time:

There was a LOT of activity between the games... With robots and such. Wheatley, the cores, the Party Escort Bot, the Turrets, everyone...

And they didn't have a cleaning division, hence why everything looks unclean and vegetation everywhere in the beginning.

  • If you let him speak, he does say these lines.

  • this was in the game

  • @myfriendluigi No actually it wasn't I've played the game many times, it's not in there

  • Dang....so it really was Wheatley who killed all those people...

  • It was ingame actually :O

  • where get picture?

  • Comment removed

  • bat or back?

  • I like the last sentence in the info section.

  • 0:18 and on was used in the game

  • Is this REALLY unused dialog from the game files? Or did you make this yourself? If it's really from the game, then -WOW- it was really Wheatley who set off the neurotoxin, not GLaDOS...

  • @HungryGuyStories Yep, this was actually recorded and put into the game files. :)

  • @DigitalFluxHeart - Aha! So this means that GLaDOS was innocent. She was framed!

  • @DigitalFluxHeart are you sure this wasn't used? I can remember some parts where Wheatly would just ramble and ramble until you triggered the end of the puzzle..

  • @HungryGuyStories Actually, wheatly is part of glados, being the intellegence dampening core ^.^ so she/he did set off the neurotoxin! :3

  • @pwnin12345 she killed the workers herself, he just set it off by accident some other time

  • @HungryGuyStories

Actually the neurotoxins were released several times. not to be a smartass.

  • @HungryGuyStories GLaDOS used the neurotoxin more than once, the scientists even made the morallity core to hold her down, Wheatly was also a core to hold her down... well i know that morality one we burned but i ain't sure how did Wheatly got separeted from GLaDOS and end up taking care of the "subjects"

  • @HungryGuyStories no it wasn't wheatley. they took that quote out so they players would not be confused.

  • @HungryGuyStories No, it wasn't really him. There's a reason why it's unused dialog, and it's intended as a joke.

  • Actually it would make sense if he was the cause of the neurotoxin. Cause remember that, at that time, Wheatley was plugged into Glados to help her make stupid decisions. This could've been one of those decisions. Then she probably found someway to disconnect Wheatley.

  • Is it just me or anyone else thinks Wheatley sounds like someone from the yoggcast?

  • Its all politics...

  • Wheatley you klutz xD

Why would cores need money anyways?

  • @TehNerdQueen

Aerosol horns. 90% of the average personality sphere's budget goes to refueling their built-in horn to shoo away birds.

  • You know.. who doesn't touch.. or you know.. in my case who.. did accidentally touch.. the neurotoxin button.

  • i'll kiss you in portal 3.

  • @gunyugunyu28 There won't be a Portal 3. Valve can't count to 3.

  • im literaly the 200'th liker

    :O

  • WHAT? WHAT IS WRONG? HUH?

  • GOD DAMN IT WHEATLEY

  • Wheatley did not kill the aperture workers. The confusion resulting from this monologue is why it wasn't included in the game.

  • @Badgaldinger I could also be that he did. But like he says: "I wasn't the one in charge." That's because GLaDOS was the one in charge. And he "assisted" her to do it because he was connected to her. He dampened her intelligence. So maybe it was GLaDOS but she did it because of Wheatley's moronic data. But since it wasn't actually included, as you correctly pointed out, nevermind all that.

  • @Badgaldinger Yea he did! Wheatley deleted that so GLaDOS would be blamed and not him! ... And then we put them ALL in potatoes! :P

  • watch?v=YBU_qOyAO7s

  • Wheatley: Guess who it was, it wasnt me.

    Me: lolwut

  • Wait so it was Wheatley who released the neurotoxin killing all the employees in Aperture?

  • It means that he released all neurotoxin in the aperture?

  • Comment removed

  • I love him <3

  • i love how wheatley says HUGE :)

  • wheatly: i mean it was huge

    me: i know thank you

  • 0:38

  • Wait... so that means...

GLaDOS didnt drown the workers, WHEATLEY did. :O

:3 Oh Wheatley. You so silly.

  • @GR33NTHUNDAH well technely they put Wheatley on GLaDOS to make her make bad decisions, so it could stil be GLaDOS work, or rather GLaDOS-Wheatleys work!

  • What is up with Aperture and deadly substances? Seriously

  • @6000NoobTube well they still better than black mesa, actually a way lot better, and they didn't flot the world whit aliens.

also on a side related note: i think Aperture runs on mac and black mesa on windos! XD

  • @Xmus44 THAT's what Half life is about? So much for a Black Mesa Christmas. That aliens thing is done to death. Almost as much as the post apocalyptic society game genre.

  • @dodiswatchbobobo that's properly true XD, but Half life was the first and best apocalyptic game out there!! but if you a asking what Half life is about! then go see "HALF LIFE IN 60 SECONDS" its awsome ;P

  • @Xmus44 ... it wasn't the first apocalyptic game...

  • @CirqueDuFreak2000 no, but close enough! :)

  • hey do they have a space core version picture of this?

  • I love how Wheatley rambles so much that we have to ttle his speech as 'Monologue'.

  • neurotoxin RELEASE button? good gawd, why did they have that? in fact why the hell did they have neurotoxin in the first place?!

  • The neurotoxin button should've been a dead man switch. That totally sounds like something aperture science would come up with.

  • THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

  • Why would he need money, he's probably never left the facility

  • @nonololo1020 Space?

  • RAT MAN!

  • A raise? Wheatley, you need money as much as Cave Johnson needs lemons.

  • lol Aperture Science-Wheatley Labrotaries i love that... Aperture Labrotaries

  • Wheatly quotes God, but God quotes Chuck Norris!

  • @TheBlackhelmetman so wheatley quotes chuck norris?

  • @DigitalFluxHeart I thought he says whose back you're going to scratch. it makes more sense that way.

  • Why didnt they use this? its so funny why did they take it out???

  • they actually did use that wheatley message! :)

  • How did he bump into it if he was on his rail? That's a design flaw in the rail right there if it was that close.

  • @snorlax42 It was when he was a real scientist. Like when Carolyn was a real person but was turned into Glados.

  • @Hakiro12 But he was artificially created to make GLaDOS a moron.

  • @snorlax42 Oh, y'should've seen the size of it. It was bloody massive.

  • @snorlax42 Aperture Science is all design flaws. That's like their thing.

  • @snorlax42 I think the even bigger design flaw was in the button, if it was really as big as he says.

  • it wasnt unused

  • dat picture is mah new laptop wallpaper ^-^

  • @InvaderRosie same

  • Okay one of two things here. One why put a core disened to be a moreon in charger of a vary dealy cemical. Two what in the heack is whealtley going to do with money?

  • @razgriz9133 Why put someone designed to be a moron in charge of the test subjects' lives? Aperture is to busy making combustible lemons to think straight.

  • They didnt release this in the game because they knew it would screw up the story, fans would start thinking wheatley was behind the murder of all the humans. Which he wasnt, thats not the story.

  • Awww... Wheatley, you murderer.

  • wait, wait....he touched the button more than once?

  • My god, Wheatley was the cause of all of this. All this time, Wheatley has been the main antagonist of Portal.

  • @Doomy23 by accident

  • To let you guys know, I don't want to keep linking people the picture so I put the link in the info box :)

  • @DigitalFluxHeart Lol I was gonna comment to ask for it

  • yeah mate were in space yep lol

  • Guess who it was. It wasn't me. I was his assistant :3

  • lol wheatley labotoires XD XD XD

  • BTW, you misquoted him in the comments. It should be "...and whose back you're willing to scratch."

  • Sooo....Wheatley caused...oh God!!! *facepalm*.

  • Comment removed

  • Dammit Wheatley.

  • "it was huge! and I wanted to touch it."

  • "back you're willing to scratch" not "bat you into scratch"

  • How did you find this?

  • 'And I should of got a raise for all the times that I didn't accidently bump into it.'\ Lol I agree with you Wheathley!

  • I like the "Smelly Humans" bit better.

  • NOw how to put portal 2 maps into gmod.

  • Wait... Pause a second... They pay the robots?

  • mmm wheatley youre lieing

  • isn't wheatley... u know a tumor

  • LMFAO!!!!!!!

'You should've seen the size of it' XDDDD!

  • Oh. So is wasn't GLaDOS that killed eveyone with the deadly neurotoxin, It was the moro-- wheatley. But it somewhat got in the hard drive disk, making her... feeling guilty for something she couldn't have done? Or they just thought it was her with the neurotoxin, and then kept puting cores in her?

  • @WildFeline999 Total mind fuck, I know. I'm thinking they thought it was her, because of course Wheatley would never admit to something like that.

  • @ThreeProphets have you seen the unused speech from caroline? She kept saying "Sir, I don't want this!"

Maybe that got stuck in her hard drive(the hate for humans...thingy). Also from lab rat comic, it appears that the scientists kept hiting the "kill" button on GLaDOS. Well, A.I, mad at a bunch of cientists that kept killing her, with the memories of a woman that did not want to become a machine.... Well, Wheatley surely was the LAST one to think it was guilty. :I

  • @WildFeline999 Endex. I've only gotten as far as when you first go underground. Sorry.

  • @WildFeline999 Well since this line isn't available in the game without certain tools, it isn't considered canon.

  • @Mugsi well, Valve keeps lots and lots of easter eggs. Who knows?

  • @WildFeline999 I think Wheatley didn't actually do it, he just enabled GLaDOS to do it.

  • @TheAwesumSauce He clearly said that it wasnt his fault for the button for being so big. If you interpretate it along with " I should get a raise everytime I didn't accidentally bump into it" Makes clear that he might have pressed the button.

  • @WildFeline999 GLaDOS DID release the neurotoxin. That's why this speech wasn't used.

  • @WildFeline999

Hello, this is the part where I (accidentally) kill you

  • @WildFeline999 Yes but first, this monologue wasn't used in the game and second, GLaDOS tries to kill you with neurotoxin in both games. The real question is why did she have access to the neurotoxin in the very first moment she was turned on?

  • @bgpivoter hmm I guess you do have a point.

The dialogue not used in tha game might or not mean something: They might be a false clue or a huge spoiler coming. you see, how many stuff have been hidding in nanobots speech, fast GLaDOS speech and so it goes.

Well, I think we have to consider this speech. Maybe between those times he also managed to give her access. Maybe she just didnt know where it was, But had control of the whole facility. The moment he bumped into it, she saw, maybe.

  • @WildFeline999 He said he touched it, not pressed it. Touching it without even pressing it would be cause enough for alarm, enough to get him fired.

  • @TheKingOfCarmel he said he bumped into it o_o thats pressing for me. why is everyone replying me so much? lol

  • @TheKingOfCarmel ooh ffft just re-heard it. yes he did touch it.

  • @WildFeline999 Probably the latter. Everyone thought it was her.

  • @WildFeline999 Or may be the reason why this monologue wasn't used in the actual game is to avoid the confusion you are having right now and just go on with the "GladOS killed everyone" story.

  • @WildFeline999 Why do you think they didn't put this in the game?

  • Oh I see, it was supposed to seem that Wheatley killed all of the scientists. But I can see why they would have removed this. Still cool though.

  • So, wait, wheatley killed everyone, not glados?

  • @WeegeePerson It sounds as if he only gave GLaDOS access to the neurotoxin, which in a way is saying that he caused the incident., but that would also mean that he was around before GLaDOS was even turned on, which was on Bring Your Daughter to Work Day. This probably is the reason why Valve didn't include this, it causes too much confusion.

  • @xScarletFire9x Well, at one point in the game, Wheatley talks about "Bring your daughter to work day" and says that "That did not end well, no." So it only makes sense that he was around before GLaDOS, but then again, he was created to make GLaDOS stupider so she would be easier to manipulate and control, so he couldn't have been created before GLaDOS was turned on, unless the scientists expected Caroline to do rash things when she was turned into a computer.,, This is confusing, you're right.

  • @WeegeePerson but if you play portal 1 in one of the tests glados mentions an upcoming bring your daughter to work day and you destroy glados before the day and wheatly was probably around in the first one just you never saw or heard of him

  • @dryamston Hmmm. Maybe GLaDOS was talking about a second "Bring your daughter to work day." Events like that are usually annual.
