We put these motors on micro-sprint racecars all over the place on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. They're not lying when they say it can do 135+ because they'll easily do 100 on a car, let alone a motorcycle. Such great engines..we literally take the clutches out of them, bore and stroke them to 136cc and push them to their absolute limit and what do they do? Run quicker lap times then a 250cc

Nice ride.. I love the RS. To Give jumpedupmofo an idea, our local track at Pukekohe the times are...cbr 900rr 1m:08.22........R1 1m:08.55 gsxr 1000 1:13.04 and the RS125, 1m13.63. look up Pukekohe, its a very historic Track , you can only win there with a lot of HP it has a huge straight. Can you edit in a couple of high speed passes with this vid , it would be perfect then, my heart rates up 50% just watching...

This is my brand new Honda rs 125 GP race bike. They come from the factory just like the moto gp 125's. I put a KLS quickshifter and ran a VHM cylinder head with different combustion inserts depending on the track. This bike went so fast I qualified to race against 1000's, 750's, 600's and the big twins. I never did.

I spent $10.000.00 to get this bike and I loved it.

Oh! I weigh 200+ lbs with my gear so there.

because 125ccm racing bike´s will go to the 140 mph without any problems because they have over 45 ps (hp).

2:01:28 is smoking on a 125 at that track, I was barely getting under 2:00 on a 250, I think 1:55:55 was my best.

lol, 80, 90 possible 115 mph just shows what you guys no about your bikes.. these are custom build race bikes quite capable of 140mph easy. the race prepped bikes in the world super bikes the british super bikes and in motogp are worth 10's of thousands.....

Top speed on a straightaway for an RS125 is just about 140mph. Corner speed will leave anything in the dust.

140 mph? Is that before or after you fall off it - they will do around 90 - 100mph standard deristriceted and up tp 115mph with bigger carb, sports exhaust etc.

Oh and a deristricted will do around 80 it's mostly about handling on these bikes not top speed but they are damn rapid for a 125cc!

Mine will only do 90 but i'm quite fat ;-)

This is a GP bike purpose-built for track use, not a street bike and it does go 135-140 mph.

@jumpedupmofo lol, this is NOT an aprillia road bike. its not even a aprilia rsw125 (moto gp). its a honda customer grand prix machine. they do 140 mph odd.. they make a prilla road seem like a moped, there like a razor blade. in the right hands there seriously rapid, in the wrong hands there dog slow. talent AND riders physical size ect is crucial to lap quickly.
