ok for all of you stupid retards dont think off the fathers or mothers /any family member that have done something wrong think of there kids that just want to see there dads .....damn some people are just messed up like i know they did shit to get there but the kids dont care they just know they want to see there fathers think about it no matter what if my dad killed someone i would be there for him through thick or thin he is my father an i would love him no matter what.so think about it stupid
I see both sides..i just hope that the children who see their fathers are also counselled so they dont make the bad choices that made these visits necessary,i also hope the children who are victims due to crime are counselled to help them to come to terms with their loss.
This made me tear i diden't get to see my dad untill i was 15 and he was locked up before i was born he went away for armed robbery and randsom and recived a 25 to life and after serveing 15 years he was eligable for Parole he was Released last year.
no matter what the prisoners did they are paying there price but there children dont need to pay the price too.I find this to be good for the prisoners and their children. im not saying what they did was okay but im pretty sure they have about 20+ years in prison so why not let them see their children?? i find this video to be very touching in many ways and i understand people having there own opinion on this and they are intitled to it.
@mistytrick : NO I don't believe in people killing people... I believe in peace and everyone taking account for ones own actions... and honesty. Those are pretty much my main rules of life.
@mistytrick how are we all ONE? So if my idiot neighbor does some stupid shit, that means I've done stupid shit... I don't think so. Get off your hippie spiritual enlightenment shit and start thinking logically. If someone in the world kills someone that doesn't mean I've killed someone. We are NOT all one. Think about it.
whoah...?! wtf is this shit? Jesus music playing alongside prisoners waiting to see their kids. Is this supposed to make me emotional or cry? This is just weird... and kind of funny.
aaaahhh those children running and jumping into the arms of their daddies is heart wrenching. No matter what their fathers have done, the children dont deserve to suffer.
So true that there are victims to think about. Look at those kids. They're victims too. I hope there is a higher power (God, Allah, whatever you answer to) that is loving and compassionate and allows for all hearts to heal victims and perpetrators alike. These men are paying their debt to society as mandated by the courts, that is punishment enough.
Aww that was beautiful. Makes me remember how I used to feel when my Dad came home after a long business trip. I was always so excited to see him, just dying inside. This made me cry, for the children not the adults though I know seeing themselves in prison through their children's eyes will hurt for years.
"Oh, and one other thing. I've been praying to the Lord, and He says it's OK: I'm not gonna be born or live in the United States anymore. Instead, I have opted for Canada -- British Columbia, as I've always loved the scenery there -- forests, mountains, waterfalls, etc. Vancouver area, in particular. And so at least I won't be here forever. Not my soul, anyway."
"On the subject of my next life: I don't suppose anyone wants to be a little baby all over again, but hey -- reincarnation is a fact of life. But then again, none of us will even remember the difference in any case, so why worry? Yes, I'm sure I WILL be a newborn infant, fresh out of the womb once again; but with ONE IMPORTANT PLUS: whoever my new family may be -- I, myself, will grow up to be a free man. Either that, or a free woman. I think it'll be worth it." o:-)
"Yes, this life I really blew it! But then again -- there will be other lifetimes, and other opportunities. During the rest of this life, however: I'm going to dedicate myself to the Lord; I'm going to get my GED, and ultimately my Bachelor's Degree. Yes, this life I'm in prison; but next time around, I will be completely free. And so: you can look for me in all the prisons everywhere till the cows come home! -- but I won't be there. Thank God Almighty, I shall be free at last!"
My heart goes out to any kid who has to go through this. I know that these guys committed crimes but it's so sad that the kids have to go through this.
The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, is worded in a clever way that could allow the U.S. government to arrest and incarcerate any individual who speaks out against the Administration, the war on Iraq-Afghanistan, the Department of Homeland Security or any government agency.
what about the victims that dont get to run up and hug a loved one....... cry for them... the dead father, mother and/or child.... shows how media can influence our emotions so easily... i'll be honest, i did start to well up but it dried up when i thought what did they do to get themselves in that position?
@tundijaan I totally understand your point here and agree.
Though I think that a major point to this video is the role the kids play here.
They're all innocent and it's quite emotional to see them reunite with their fathers who have punished them by the crimes as well as themselves and of course the victims.
So, it's the kids I shed a tear for here, not the cons.

Sad thing is I bet most of these people are in for non-violent drug offences. The drug war on our citizens needs to end.

WIsh we had the opportunity as a child to hug our dad while he was in prison. Instead we were stuck talking to him through glass.
Remember that people come from all different backgrounds and not all of them are murderers or hurt somebody to get themselves locked up in prison.

totally agree with you there. plus i find it extremely unfair that the kids are the ones who are paying the highest price in this....
such a waste of time and life...screwing it all up...for what?

@tundijaan and their paying for it. i don't think they should ever get out, but i don't think you should deprive the kids for their fathers mistake.
