  • it would be funny to see a dog do this lol

  • we're toilet training our cats right now... and so far so good. they learned pretty quickly... we had 2 accidents so far.

  • TrainYourCat,NET

  • wouldn't it increase toxoplasmosis chances?

  • i REALLY wish tht my cat could use the toilet... would sure as heck save us the trouble (and money) of doing the litter!

  • hahahaha my thoughts EXACTLY

  • I'm from Australia..seen that before..its all well and good but do we really want our cats peeing and poohing on our own toilets..doesn't seem very hygenic to me... a bit gross really.. I think I'd rather have the hassle of cleaning their own little space for that sort of thing!

  • I think it's a lot more hygenic because you no long have to stick your hands and face down next to a litter box.

  • Plus, their paws stay clean since they no longer have to touch their icky litter to cover it up. Hence, more hygienic.

  • How is it any less hygenic than a human doing it? It's not like human poop is sterile.

  • Exactly.

They don't put their huge smelly butts over it either.

  • Hi ummm...could you mabey send me that thing and I PROMISE to send right back to you. Pleeeeeeas. Its been 2 weeks with my cat having the litter box on the toilet seat.

  • Toilet train a cat? hell my car already shits in the bathtub..lol

  • the cat in 2:33 stuck his head in the hole.. lmao

  • Does anyone know if they make any "litter-free boxes" for bigger cats who might be prone to falling in. My cat is 15 lbs and I can totally see him falling in and then being afraid to ever use the toilet again. I guess I could cut a whole out of a plastic storage box and make a kitty toilet with some pine litter in the bottom.

  • I have the citikitty toilet training system and it really messed with my cat's head. One morning Lily did both jobs in the training seat when I was getting ready for work. Ten minutes later she jumped on the bed and peed on the bed. Why would she do that if she knows where her toilet is??

  • most cats dont flush....but you can buy thise thing i4get the name well u hook it up to the toitlet and its like a seneser it knwoes when u cat took a dump && it flush it by it self after the cat is done in like 11 sec it will flush

  • damn, only if they would flush, it would be perfect

  • some do, and wont stop so most would not recommend

  • I would try toilet training with my cat, the only problem is that he has a habit of drinking out of it. He's very dog like.

  • My cats did this too before they started their toilet training. They haven't done it since.

  • My cats did this too before they started their toilet training. They haven't done it since.

  • that's awesome! I wish I had two toilets though.

  • The only problem is when your cat wants to go to the bathroom...at the same time you do.

  • buy it online from litterkwitterdotcom

  • hehe, i wanna know hwere to get a tray like that...now if only they would flush and wash hands, er paws

  • Why is there no VO on this video segment?

  • where can i find one of these

  • oHjyACHiNa where can u get those toilet cat box tray thins? i need to no. or find an alternative. the only prob is my puss is afriad of water. commnt back

  • Hopefully they won't try to cover it up ... with water:[[[! That would be THE MESS!!!

  • its cool, but the bastards dont flush

  • lol good idea, dont suppose you'd need a book to figure out how to train the cat to do it...seems over the span of say a month, you'd slowly move the cat litter box closer to the toilet, eventually into the toilet, and finally doing away with the toilet completely...good idea if you really want to eliminate a litter box and you don't mind losing the use of a toilet for a while.

  • hilarious. all cats need to pimped up.

come check us out at pimpitup dot com.

    join the movement cat people.

    jay and kk.

  • if they cant bend then for gods sake they shouldn't have cats in the first place.

  • i tried this and instead the cat poops on the side so disturbing

  • Actually that whole "cat's should be free" attitude changes when you're beloved kitty does'nt come back to you T^T

  • I think its great. I wanna get one.

  • my cat is going top toilet by himself too

    and we ddnt show him

  • TRain a cat to go outside, isn't that the norm? Animals and humans shouldn't really share toilets, not very hygenic is it. Great if ther cat has it's own en suite though.

  • are you planing on eating out of your toilet any time soon?

  • my cat just walks outdoors if she needs to....

  • so presumably you have to leave the lid of the toilet up all the time so what about the smells of that? why are you so lazy a cat litter tray takes just a few moments to clean especially if you use cat litter bags just take out the bag tie the top put it in the bin what could be simpiler or more hygenic???

  • What about people who can't bend down who own cats? Should they have to give up their cat? Just because someone dosn't want to deal with a litterbox dosn't meen they are 'lazy." We keep our lid up all the time here. It dosn't stink.

  • what could be simpler or more hygienic? did you watch the video? by definition, removing steps from the process is simplification. so if you take the kitty litter out of the equation altogether, then that is simpler, nevermind less wasteful. and if the toilet isn't hygienic enough for you, what do you use yourself?

  • Yeah - how about when the cats track the litter all over the place and you have clumps of shit on the rug or things like that? Not so hygienic after all?

  • my cat just walks outdoors if he needs to go. way easier

  • well, that's great if your cat can get outdoors. in my last place i had a cat door to the yard and i never had to buy litter. now i live on the third floor of a building.

  • haha yes i actually think that might work

  • I'm sorry but this is disgusting! Did you notice that the cat doesn't wash after using the bathroom! Atleast learn to train your cat to wash it's paws afterwards. :)

  • i think you should let them out once a day. but what if ur not home then where are they gunna go wee. soo ya pretty kool

  • im from Sydney an i know that lady i sell it in my pet shop.. IT DOES WORK

  • This is just another example of others taking credit for my invention. I invented the Kitty Whiz Transfer System in 1978. The product was demonstrated on a score of televisons shows and writen about in just about every newspaper on earth. Do a google search for Kitty Whiz. Ernie Hemple

  • i did the google search an nothing came up about u!

  • Did you patent it?Because if you did, this Aussie woman's 'invention' could classify as patent infringement & u could demand its removal from shelves.I certainly remember seeing the' cat on the loo'footage well over a decade ago.I'd contact the person & tell them this is copyright infringement. But if u didn't patent it,you're probably screwed.Note to all potential inventors:get a patent or you simply cannot prove you thought of it first.

  • thing is, they took your invention and improved on it a little bit, because yours is a softer plastic. i tried to use your system to train my cat, and he always wanted to step on the plastic part, but after i cut out the middle ring it wouldn't hold his weight and it scared him and he stopped using it.

  • i'm sorry if this sounds like i'm bashing your invention, i don't mean to, because it's a brilliant idea, but i do think that having firmer plastic is a good idea, so no matter how small the hole is it doesn't feel insecure to the cat.

  • Balls.

  • someone could have flushed the wee out before filming.

  • hhahhahaha nice 1 neo

  • Why is that dudes teeth really long on one side and short on the other? If only you dumb Brits would concentrate on oral hygene instead of useless stuff like cats pooping in the toilets! God save the queen.

  • WTF! im british and point number 1: those 2 people werent british you dumbass the first was an aussie the second AMERICAN!!! so get it right before you speek, silly little fat american kid

  • cool i love the vedio

  • GORDDY ?

  • ever heard about toxoplasm ?!?

  • well, wouldn't this be a better option for single pregnant women? that way, they don't have to handle the urine, therefore making the chances of birth defects lower? i don't know, but i would most DEFINITELY not let a KITTEN go unsupervised in the toilet. Notice, this video does not show kittens being potty trained. It would be terrible if a kitten was drowned, but I'm sure a full sized cat would be fine.

  • Have these people never heard of Toxoplasmosis?

  • I think it could work for dogs as well if you had a squatting toilet. It would be better also for cats.

  • And they say British have bad teeth.

  • I think it's wrong that they filmed the cats in the bathroom!! They have feelings too!! lol

  • WASTE 'O WATER.

  • q asco, gatos del orto...

  • what happens if you have a small cat or kitten and it falls in when your not home?:S it will drown:| and what.. are you too lazy to clean your pets litter box?:S

  • That's awful. I love my cat to death but would never be TOO LAZY to clean his litter box!

It's clean if you make it clean GHESSH!

  • that is awesome! im definately going to have to try that. my cat isnt afraid of water so it should be easy!

  • wow whats better scoping up cat dirt or saying to guest no you cant go to the toilet my cats in it

  • Saying to the guest "No, you can't to the bathroom, my cat's in it." because of the look on their face. XD

  • My cat drinks out of the toliet... that's close...

  • Crazy, crazy people..

This reminds me of Meet the Parents. x33

  • ok?

  • It's great! Now with the toilet attachments that automatically flush it's perfect. Here is a secret. My pet duck will use the toilet.

  • haha, video please!

  • I haven't videoed her doing the deed cause I am too busy helping her aim. She isn't as good at it as a cat. I will have to try and look into getting it on video first.

  • It just looks like an insert that goes under the toilet seat to make it like it is a litter box. I suppose you pick up the old litter box and deposit a little used litter in the insert to make the cat go there since the scent will tell the cat "you went here before, go again" even if it really did not go there before. Don't forget, to cats, "the nose knows" ;)

I suppose it is to get the cat used to being on the toilet and not to immediately look at the water, get scared and run off.

  • How did you do this?? What is your secret? I have 4 cats and it would save me sooo much money.

  • has brain damage*

  • My cat is too retarded for that.

Really. We rescued him from a lady who dropped him out of her 3rd story apartment for kicks.

He had brain damage. he doesn't even go in the litter box. O_o

  • That's terrible! ;.;

  • The poor baby! *sends net lovins to your cat* No one should ever do that to any anamal. Or people for that matter.

  • sounds cool!!

  • I read somthin bout dat in Uncle John's ahhhhh inspiring bathroom read on how to train your cat to use the toilet

  • smart cat

  • Lol.

  • i wish my cat would do that -.-

  • its a litter BOX bitches

  • i think that u can only do that if u have two toilets.......i wouldnt want to get sand on my butt

  • Well, I think it's a great idea and I'm going to try it. I had a lung transplant 7 years ago and am not supposed to be "digging around" in the cat box for little treasures. I bought an automatic one, but it still leaves clumps and when you go to throw the box away, you get a face full of fums!! I had someone doing it for me, but not any more. She is strictly and indoor cat.

  • 15-20 yrs ago, someone invented a cat toilet-training litter pan (clear plastic) that fit over the rim, beneath the toilet seat. A few years later, I looked for it, to no avail. I TRULY believe that one of the litter companies bought the patent and filed it away, to prevent losing money on litter. We all need to look into this. It really worked. I remember seeing cats use it on t.v.

  • I used it to train my cats. It WORKED. Both of my cats used the toilet for years.

  • i dunno how people live with animals theyre frickin scary lol just the thought of them makes me shudder

  • If you want a cheaper solution check out www.scoopnomore.com. A fraction of the price and it works the same.

  • Wow... *thinks* What about privacy? Do ya just put a kitty door on the bathroom door? lmao

Even though our cats are indoor outdoor cats its still useful cause the old owners of my house stole the automatic sweepie litter box... So now I have to do it -.-' Its a cute/funny/useful idea though!

  • you can tell REAL cat people from idiots by the comments posted here.

  • it's true, the worst thing about keeping a cat is shoveling thier shit. We don't let ours out because of the carniverous birds around here. I'm giving this a try

  • This guy should work on getting a fuckin girlfriend.

  • lol..

  • Okay, so what's the point of getting a cat if you're just going to throw it outside and leave the occasional food and water outside? Come on. If you can't brave the weather than your cat most definitely cannot. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your cat. If it's too cold for you it's too cold for your cat.

  • ok if i tought my cat 2 do that she would break the toilet shes way 2 fat LOL

  • lmao

  • Lazy people are people, too ^^

Although I'm sure the cats will develope an even BIGGER "I don't need you" attitude.

  • I'm having ten cats and this is one of them

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9RiIvUmwZs

  • would you have to teach them from a kitten??!

  • Kittens might be too small. If they accidentally fall in, they might not be able to get out.

  • Very true. I'd suggest litter training your kitten and when they get bigger moving to the 'toilet-litterbox' lol.

  • thats stupid, its a DAMN cat people are gettin to lazy to original stuff

  • nice info!!! i wonder if it'll work on my cat.. although in my country.. cat litter aint much of a use >_< oh well.. ill give it a shot!!

  • I do like the video, and it's a good idea. I was just commenting on something someone said about "If you love your cats, you won't let them outside." Which is an issue with me. I know about understand about apartments.

  • Fantastic. How clever!

  • WAHAHAHA lol omg this is crazy. Omg so funny. Like it's gonna matter, now you have a smelly catshit toilet instead! You know it doesn't flush. Ore what about having people over for a coffee, they go to the bathroom, and find the catshit in there haha. Imagine how they'll feel

  • They have been living outside for thousands of years, and they don't need us to treat them like babies, but as adults. Saying something like that is like saying that any living being should live in a cage. Would you like to live in a nice safe cage? I have had 9 cats, and they all went outside any time they wanted, and they lived into old age.

  • How ignorant are you?

  • a combination bathroom-bedroom.. SICK WOMAN! Who the hell could love a cat that freaking much! YOU'RE SICK LADY!

  • My ferrets have their own room with all their toys in it. They have a 6 foot high cage and all kinds of tubes and toys to play with in their.

  • I'm from Poland. I have two cats, and it will be much easier to teach them that trick :) I haven't seen any where that type of "equipment" (this thing that they put on a toilet), and I don't know where to buy it.

If you can help me, with name of this thing or where can I buy it (ebay or something) please let me know :]

  • http://cgi.ebay.com/Litter-Kwitter-Cat-Toilet-Training-System-Kit-Brand-New_W0QQitemZ7774506480QQihZ018QQcategoryZ126054QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and there just happens to be only one availible...have fun

  • I leave my cat out whenever he wants too.. You can't control an animal like that, it's supposed tyo have an outside life!

  • Get a load of "JimJim's" dork owner..."I'm calling everybody saying, She did it She did it!" How gh3y can you get??!!

  • try teaching a dog that XD

  • Our cat runs around outside all the time, and yet he still does his business indoors sometimes. So letting your cat out doesn't always have anything to do with ours. Ours just goes whenever he needs to, and at that time he may be outdoors, of he may be indoors.

  • im from switzerland, we have big cities too of course, but where i live, i got a field in front of my house, a little forrest next to my house, bushes and so forth. i would say dont get a cat if u life in a big city, i will move to a big city soon, and wether i like it or not i cant take my cat with me, its best for the cat. and to mikeyandsatan, the world is a little more complicated than u think! u think war is on cause i disagree with people havin housecats?? lol

  • for what blackfoot, matekk, and canadian, are saying, do you like going outside and having to clean off your shoe before your able to come back in? at least have outside litter boxses. but yes, cats should be able to go outside.

  • ALL YOU IDIOTS WHO HAVE NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE THINGS TO SAY..JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP..NO WONDER THIS WORLD IS SOOOOOOOO

FUCKED...IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU LOSERS WHO ARE SO UNHAPPY

  • I understand the point blackfoot and matekk are making, but what happens if there are no places for a cat to shit? I ask because where I live, I haven't seen any owners of cats let them out to poo. There is no dirt or grass around since I live in the centre of a city. <shrugs>

  • what blackfootnawaho said - let your cat/s go outside... nitwits..

  • omg how stupid can u be?? i have two cats and they both shit outside!! let your cats out of the house, cats are not prisoners

  • it makes it hard to let your cats out if you live in town and your neighbors say next time they see your cat their gonna kill em. trust me...

  • Cats shouldn't be allowed out. They can get fleas, ticks, feline Leukemia/AIDS. The can also be injured in fights with other cats and, worst of all, they can be injured or killed by cars. If you really care about your cat you won't let him/her out of the house.

  • I agree 100%!

  • No offense. But I think keeping a cat inside all the time is ABSOLUTLY inhumane! The same could be said for people in prison. They will be safe inside a prison. But I'm sure that any living thing would be happy to trade their life for a few days in the sun, and fresh air. I would, in a heart beat... wouldn't you? People think of animals as inanimate objects, that they can just put in the closet when they are done playing with them. They don't belong in a man made prison.

  • I get sick if I don't go out and get some exercise outside at least once a day. I'm sure that cats are not that different, and probably have the same problem. I think it's only fair that if you cat cannot go outside. They you can't either. Now can you see their point of view?

  • I get sick if I don't go out and get some exercise outside at least once a day. I'm sure that cats are not that different, and probably have the same problem. I think it's only fair that if you cat cannot go outside. They you can't either. Now can you see their point of view?

  • well that would work for me because i cant let my cat go outside because we have coyotes. yep my neighbor found the head to her cat one morning without the body so now she has indoor cats

  • Correction, she has 1-1/4 indoor cats.

  • Cats should be allowed it during the day, but kept in at night. Cats are naturally hunters and explorers- they like to dig holes and climb trees. I dresd to think what state your furnitures in! My three have had the run of outside all day, and are now tucked up, asleep.

  • If you live in a city, or an area with predators, or near busy streets, you're an irresponsible pet owner if you let your cat outside unsupervised. It's one thing to take an outdoor cat and make him a 100% indoor cat - it will yowl at the window incessantly. But start with the cat as a kitten, keep him inside, and there will be no problem.

  • Cats yes enjoy the outside. But if you have a cat from a kitten age they don't know the outdoors and are usually afraid of it.

But if you insist on outdoor cats, you could also buy this product that allows you to have an escape-proof 'run' for your cat so they can go outside. My neighbour has it and her cats love to be outside during the summer and no one has to worry about them getting hit by a car.

  • If I ever get a cat, I WILL get this

  • lol

  • Well, I guess this is something a Dog cannot do. At least there is one thing.
