OSE II the non toxic oil spill clean up that can prevent natural resource damage even in spills like the Exxon Valdez, and the BP Gulf spill. OSE II when permitted in the drilling response plans, would give the public confidence drilling could occur and natural resources protected at the same time.
shaving the tongspace is probably not smart the first dude to make up will slap the tong on and bust the thing thats usually why they keep hardbanding on the shoulder of the pipe. and could probably crack easier underneath that thing
ive never read so much hippie crap in my life,. first of all these business that you claim are taking our resources and selling them back too us, didnt just appear,..every company starts out small, and if "us" the consumer decides they offer valuable goods or services, we pay them allowing them to grow with money that we obtain from offering the same to others,...so you sir "the public" have created these large company's because these company's have proven themselves worthy,...cont.
The pitch is to fine on the thread for that type of application, If a driller can't get that on easly he is going to throw it to one side!! Do that a few times and they won't use them at all. Good idea but perhaps it needs a less hit and miss method of attachment.
Notice how they talk about financial cost....when implementing this technology, price should not even come into it. Ask the people of the southern states of the USA. The petrochem companies should be required by law to use the BEST possible methods if they wish to continue profiting from people by selling them a resource they don't own just merely retrieve for profits. Cost is irrelevant compared to the cost to the environment.
@harvinsi ..Brother..your missing the point. You are born to a world where you are told companies own resources they had no part in producing. Resources that belong to each and every one of us on the planet. These resources are finite, why should people have to pay for something we should all have access to freely. Instead we allowed money to happen, then attached an invented printed and worthless value to real physical resources that we are now enslaved to pay for. Think outside the square.
@harvinsi Money makes nothing happen. Mind power, thoughts, handskills and ability make all things happen and be created by mankind. Did the first knucklehead to invent the wheel do it for money?..i think not.He did it out of need and ability to do so, there was no payday for it, like for all things up until banks invented themselves. We evolved for thousands of years without any cost and ownership attached to our resources, but now we do...you do the math.
@ChonksterAU The reason money is needed is too prevent lazy pricks from taking more then they are giving, "its usually the lazy ones who complain about the fair system"...the wheel wasn't invented for money but money let all those who didnt know how too build one, own one......you also answered your own question,.... we ""evolved for millions of years".. thats why we use money....you alone could not build the keyboard you're using not to mention get the oil for the materials to make plastics
Heck of a lot easier to just use advanced drilling fluids like Torqueless, nice vid though!

@ChonksterAU Your logic is flawed because the oil companies do own the oil they retrieve.

@ChonksterAU i`d like to see you diggin a well in your backyard to recover oil!!!
We`re paying for it `cause people put their money in expensive equipment needed and risk their lives to make our homes warm and our cars move.
