Sorry, His is one of the greatest voices the world has ever known. His depth and ability is incomparable, perhaps that is why robert fripp and peter gabriel have him on their records.
i watched this on french tv, it was on sunday morning, really, one of the first french rock tv progam, one of the greatest musical moment of my childhood
i was lucky enough to have Graham as a Violin teacher. One of the most inspirational yet modest guys I've ever worked with. Did you know his old folk band used to tour with Thin Lizzy?
Although I don't see Graham Smith often now, I still consider him a friend. He's still teaching violin in Bristol and working now with a wonderful young singer/songwriter from Bristol called Katey Brooks. I was honoured to have Graham guest for me several times with my band doing local gigs in Bristol and to have him help out with some recordings I did.
Unbelievable! The camera work and audio on this are really quite stunning.I've always thought Peter Hammill was a quite a visionary but this is really revelatory.I adore many new bands but they truly don't come like this anymore.
no existe nadie como hammil en este mundo ,es un poeta, que canta para si mismo,la tesitura de su voz,sus ganas de estar creando siempre, simplemente increible.....
This is probably my favourite ph/vdgg at their most prolithic stage, with the integral majesty of all musicians concerned Ph's vocal and lyricalpower,Jaxon at his most sensitive,HB at his most receptiveness and GE with his expert timing and jazzyness.Still Life rules ok.
Outstanding! Thanks for uploading this! I had the opportunity to be meeting with PH in the late 70's here in Quebec City when he was on a solo tour. It was the In Camera Tour. I watched him hypnotizing a dog backstage just before hie concert, at the CEGEP of Limoilou. I don't remember the date. I'm searching for datas about his lives performances but I can't find them anywhere. Anybody could help? Alain

Peter is a excellent song writer and exceptional poet, but not so good singer.

I am much more wondering, where Graham Smith went to after he left Peter. . .because that humble man was a great violinplayer!
And as for Alice, she had all the rights and reasons to leave, btw.
