Great job. This is my favorite song by Prince. I originally bought this album on tape and wore it out (twice). A great song with such wonderful emotion. The only other time until now that I have seen it done with such justice was when the Jeoffery Ballet performed to the original version at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.

I heard the knock-off version by Ironik. I thought "Where is the emotion?" Remember your version. Emotion drips ... in the arrangement, the singing, the playing. You KILL this song, I've heard it covered by dozens; I would bet money that Prince would say your version best captures the essence of the song. This song isn't meant to by hyped, hip-hopped, etc. Doesn't work w/ the emotional essence of the song. BTW, do you always emote so well ... or just especially on this song?

The song is supposed to be one of Chris' friends reflecting on their relationship and the loss of his life.
