Wow. This is INCREDIBLY late 70s, isn't it? I half expect Donald Sutherland to walk in wearing a tweed suit with a slightly weird-looking afro and start talking about pod people.
It's so funny to me to know that *Louise* was actually 20 years OLDER than *George* in real life! LOL! She was old enough to BE his mother!! But I guess Sherman Hemsley looked so much older with the gray hair and she wearing colored wigs...made him look older than his actual years....and the perfect match...for HER!
THESE ACTORS REALLY MADE A BIG IMPRESSION ON MY LIFE...I WAS ABUSED BADLY AS A CHILD AND WHEN I WOULD SNEEK 2 WATCH THIS SHOW I WOULD 4GET ABOUT THE ABUSE AND REMEBER HOW TO LAUGH AND REACH 4 THE STARS... LOVE THE JEFFERSONS
@DontNVdaVIP Even though it was the 70's, they all wore some sharp clothes, especially George. I see some pieces and dresses that Helen wore or Thelma wore on Good Times that I wouldn't mind wearing as retro today lol. I wish I could see this whole episode, I never got a chance to see it.
@ChicagoTyme WOW. I never noticed that B 4 ab0ut the outfits bit, both them ladies sure did dress sharp! lol. I wish I could rock sum of their gear myself
"ooohh this is too much"....Tom had to use the bathroom...crackd me up...then George ran the water...Helen just busted out, I think she did impromptu becuz it was funny. It don't believe that was in the script at all.. FUNNY
Thats what I want to know because in my city, it used to come on at 10am, now Sanford and Son came on instead, so I have no clue but I wish that They'll put this on BET.
Does anyone know in which episode Tom and Helen have that huge fight that spills outside the Jefferson's apartment and they begin arguing whether to take the elevator or the stairs, and Helen finally belts out angrily at Tom: "I AM TAKING THE STAIRRRRRRS!!!!"
Does anyone have the episode where the father and son bigots move into the building and recruit Tom Willis to attend a meeting and Tom brings George? I remember the father has a heart attack and George performs CPR to save his life. Ive been trying to locate that episode.
Ohh I love that episode that George saved that racist KKK guy's life, I was so shocked about that. I also looking for the one that Louise/ helen in jail then George/Tom bailed them out then at end: Tom/ George ended in Jail- Thats my fav episode.
I remember the Klansman's shocking response when he found out that George was the one who saved his life: "You should have let me die!" George and his friends left too soon to see that all of the other Klan members, including the son, basically quit the KKK by leaving the meeting.
I just wish you could relay that fact to every asshole studio that penalizes people for posting clips or random episodes of TV shows on YouTube. Don't these fools know that YouTubers are doing their marketing work for them for free?

@CrownJewel32 umm its a fake eyelash strip
