  • Wow. This is INCREDIBLY late 70s, isn't it? I half expect Donald Sutherland to walk in wearing a tweed suit with a slightly weird-looking afro and start talking about pod people.

  • Why did Helen put that eye lash back on her eye?

  • @CrownJewel32 umm its a fake eyelash strip

  • @aishaxoxobela But, it fell in the sink and it's unsanitary to put an eyelash back on your eye when that happens.

  • @CrownJewel32 true that hmm idk

  • "Ohhhh This is too much" What "I have to go to the bathroom"

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

  • George thought Tom was going to call her nigger! Helen knew and said..don't you say it! Also "do you HAVE to run that water!"

  • the entire episode is on youtube now, belgusto1 channel, it is called "george meets whittendale"

  • It's so funny to me to know that *Louise* was actually 20 years OLDER than *George* in real life! LOL! She was old enough to BE his mother!! But I guess Sherman Hemsley looked so much older with the gray hair and she wearing colored wigs...made him look older than his actual years....and the perfect match...for HER!

  • Classic tv,true television at it's best

  • THESE ACTORS REALLY MADE A BIG IMPRESSION ON MY LIFE...I WAS ABUSED BADLY AS A CHILD AND WHEN I WOULD SNEEK 2 WATCH THIS SHOW I WOULD 4GET ABOUT THE ABUSE AND REMEBER HOW TO LAUGH AND REACH 4 THE STARS... LOVE THE JEFFERSONS

  • @harrpooo I would have read your comment if it hadn't been all in caps.

    (stop shouting, we're not blind)

  • @FijneWIET sooo sorry i was havn a moment.@fijnewiet...

  • DAMN How SAD that George is the only one alive... :-(

  • @crackermoves No, Florence is still alive. She was on TV One earlier this year.

  • @Reggieftl Oh yeah thats right!!! :-)

  • @Reggieftl Jenny is still alive also!!

  • @crackermoves Um, Florence and Jenny are still alive (and Lionel #2)...

  • @kevico2 Yeah I was mistaken & actually over looked them..

  • George was like Archie like no other

  • I know it's just a TV Show, but in real life I would absolutely dislike a person like Ralph!

  • does anyone have the "back off whitey" line ?

  • what episode is this?

  • WOW! Think its the 0ne and 0nly tyme they sh0wed the inside of their bathr0om completely. I think its nice.

  • @DontNVdaVIP Even though it was the 70's, they all wore some sharp clothes, especially George. I see some pieces and dresses that Helen wore or Thelma wore on Good Times that I wouldn't mind wearing as retro today lol. I wish I could see this whole episode, I never got a chance to see it.

  • @ChicagoTyme WOW. I never noticed that B 4 ab0ut the outfits bit, both them ladies sure did dress sharp! lol. I wish I could rock sum of their gear myself

  • @ChicagoTyme yeah I love George's funky outfits too!

I think Louise wears blue too often, not her best color imho

  • I use to love watching this show when i was little, especially when he use to dance...OMG... too funny

  • RIP Roxie Roker,Franklin Cover,Paul Benedict and the rest of the cast members that have passed away!!

  • @crackermoves Man, and them both really hated each other on the shows.

  • EPIC!! FAIL!!!!

  • You suck.

  • "ooohh this is too much"....Tom had to use the bathroom...crackd me up...then George ran the water...Helen just busted out, I think she did impromptu becuz it was funny. It don't believe that was in the script at all.. FUNNY

  • The episode with KKK was "Sorry, Wrong Meeting". - That episode reminded me of Chris Rock when he was blind and joined the KKK hahaha.

  • That wasn't Chris Rock that was Dave Chapelle

  • LMAO, it was I saw that one :) WHAT I

  • y isnt this on tv land anymore

  • Thats what I want to know because in my city, it used to come on at 10am, now Sanford and Son came on instead, so I have no clue but I wish that They'll put this on BET.

  • @ecwsux This is finally on TV one now.

  • They need to put this on BET to replace "The Game" I hate that show, this one is funny as heck.

  • I know, right?! The Game is a terrible show!

  • this is actually the first episode i saw. i was five years old and for some reason, i understood most of the dialouge.

  • ralph is the ultimate hustler lol

  • grew up on this, good & bad memories

  • GET RID OF THAT RED WRITING

  • LOL@3:59. How tom was knockin on George's head. The Jeffersons is a classic sitcom.

  • Is it just me or did Helen look high when she she flushed that note and said some ship would pick it up? LOL!!

  • That toilet looks bigger than George

  • Louise's startled reaction at 0:48 is priceless!!!! I always laugh myself silly when I see it in the opening titles.

  • Does anyone know in which episode Tom and Helen have that huge fight that spills outside the Jefferson's apartment and they begin arguing whether to take the elevator or the stairs, and Helen finally belts out angrily at Tom: "I AM TAKING THE STAIRRRRRRS!!!!"

  • Was called "the richman's disease" in season 1

  • The name of the "KKK" episode was "Sorry, Wrong Meeting (Sea. 7, Epi. 14)

  • Thats one of my favorite episodes.

  • Does anyone have the episode where the father and son bigots move into the building and recruit Tom Willis to attend a meeting and Tom brings George? I remember the father has a heart attack and George performs CPR to save his life. Ive been trying to locate that episode.

  • Ohh I love that episode that George saved that racist KKK guy's life, I was so shocked about that. I also looking for the one that Louise/ helen in jail then George/Tom bailed them out then at end: Tom/ George ended in Jail- Thats my fav episode.

  • I just LOVE George's reaction to the KKK guy he's trying to save - "Breathe, you bastard!"

  • wrong season

  • I remember the Klansman's shocking response when he found out that George was the one who saved his life: "You should have let me die!" George and his friends left too soon to see that all of the other Klan members, including the son, basically quit the KKK by leaving the meeting.

  • OMG, thats one of my favorite episodes. I seen that one on TV land a month or 2 ago. I taped it.

  • what episode was that

  • I know what you are talking about, I love that KKK episode, I just gonna have to get a DVD, and I did seen that episode 2 months ago on TVland

  • is it me or is that a low flow toilet? (low profile), but low makes sense in a big city, mayb they were wiser than the rest of us :)

  • One of the most famous episodes of the series - it was in the opening credits for YEARS!

  • " Helen " on this TV Show is the mother of rock star Lenny Kravitz!

  • @rstar2008 really?

  • @rstar2008 she had all the talent in the family

  • Helen: "Let me tell you one thing."

Tom: "No, let me tell you one thing."

    Helen: "Go ahead."

Tom: "One of your eyelashes is coming off."

    Helen: "DAMN!!"

    ROTFLMAO!!

  • George (to Tom and Helen): I'm hiding from Mr. Bentley.

Helen: Oh, how nice. And when you get through, are you and Mr. Bentley going to play Hopscotch?

    ROTFLMAO!!!

  • I wish that the whole episode was uploaded. I want to see George dance when he gets his invitation to the Whittendale party. Hilarious!!

  • i agree. can someone upload the full episode?

  • I like the part where George knocks on the hair dryer with Louise's head under there telling her that he's leaving to meet Mr. Whittendale.

  • Hit Amazon! I just bought a season last night for a reasonable price. I love this show.

  • I just wish you could relay that fact to every asshole studio that penalizes people for posting clips or random episodes of TV shows on YouTube. Don't these fools know that YouTubers are doing their marketing work for them for free?

  • please post the other sections of the show

  • Tom Willis Helen Willis classic

  • tom:yes, sometimes i think you are a stubborn, dumb, little...

    helen: careful tom!

george: that's right, don't use that word in my bathroom
