Heehee! I was at that exact spot in Ephesus two years ago. Every single tourist I saw, regardless of age, race, creed or religion, would break out into a grin when they saw the communal toilet. They'd each grab a seat and get their pictures / videos taken.
Maybe the ancients knew something about human psychology that we moderns have forgotten. Something like, when we crap together = peace? LOL!!!

we have something like this at our school, 1 stall, two toilets, one roll of paper. we call it the best friends toilet :P
