I will be buying one of those Colman Rocket Stoves if i can find one.
Thank you for sharing! This was video 100 or the next one is. While watching this one it said there is 99 videos. I am not sure if that includes this one or not.
Do you have a video of how to identify different trees and or fish? I need help in both those depts. I will be asking a few of my other favorite Youtube stars as well.
@ShoeManShoe68 I am hoping to do some tree ID vids in the future. In my "Old Growth Forest video"
(coming soon), I will be showing some trees that can be found in an Eastern Woodlands Old Growth Forest some identification included. I'll work on a more detailed ID video.
Ah, nothing like some cowboy coffee from a sock cup! My son uses the jetboil system. Comes with similar stove, stand, two cups, lid and cozy... boils in seconds. Got it for 50 bucks... sweet system.
I have one of them cups but never used it on the stove i will have to give it a go, a quick way of making a hot drink with out getting all my gear out.
@thebeeperman, at least a week! I've still got the first fuel container that size I've brought and have been out on at least 6 overnighters, plus maybe 3 or 4 day hikes brewing up a cuppa, plus made char cloth twice and I'd say it's still got 1/4 left. Surprised the he'll out of me, I was being all conservative worrying about it running out in one night out. Oh that's boiling water in a titanium 900 mug. Hope that helps.
Wonderful! Always great to see you out in your natural environment where the Squatches and the Leprechauns play. : ) Very nice little stove, especially for the great price... I'm looking forward to more. : )
This may be hard to put a time to. But how long will one of those fuel containers last you. Of course it would depend on how long you had it on. But say you were cooking 3 simple meals a day. Would it last 1 day? 2? 3? Or maybe a better way of asking it is. If you were going out for a week in the field. And were using the rocket to cook all your meals. How many containers would you bring with you.
How many time Sasquatches snuck up on ya? Loved that in the video!

I'd take one full one! You always have cooking on an open fire for an option, save the weight. But 1 would definatly last a week in my opinion.
