  • Guys calm down! Why comment as if you know it all? Some cats prepher to have Owners or known humans around them while they hav kittens. Pick up a book.

  • Ouch!

  • Looks Painful!

  • why am i watching this at 00:49 am

  • aww

  • very gorgouis cat i have always wanted a savannh but i might end up moving to a state that does not allow them and to me thats sad

  • btw ur not ment to touch the kittens and the mother is ment to eat the thing off that u were cutting off so she could gave dissowned her kittens

  • i thought your not suppose to touch her kittens ? why are you doing that ?

  • when my cat had birth there wasnt any blood

  • omg bllod on the blanket ewww

  • in order to hold the kittens the mother must trust you and they must be cleaned off by the mother

  • a terrifying and glorious event it must have been for your cat, I hope uyou have raised those kittens into fine cats, I suppose it is okay to give to better home once they are old enough to leave their mother. :)

  • OMG I want a savannah sooo bad! :O

  • Wait a minute you can't touch a kitten when it's first born because the mother won't touch the kittens when it's touch by a human you have to wait a few weeks to do that

  • @resdsox1 that is not always true. I help my first time queens all the time.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend So you work at veteran hospital I'm guessing

  • @resdsox1 No, I raise Savannah kittens. My web site is spottedlove (com)

  • @Lifeatthesharpend Oh thats cool but can help fix a cat to?

  • @resdsox1 yea..my cat had her kittens in my bed under my blanket between my legs while i was asleep...she didnt mind me touching them. needless to say we have a special bond haha

  • @floppythudpucker My cat & my Mom have a bond too I have a bond with the baby cat so it's all good

  • she let u touch the kitten when i touched a newborn kitten i got scratched up...not fare :(

  • i love that name.

  • i <3 cats . an they are really cute when they are first born. thanks for putting this on youtube!!

  • The joyest things to watch is a cat having kittens. Just like watching a woman have a baby.

  • who cute wat kinda of kitty? my cat is in labor right now so i just was cing other cats havung kittens in case some thing happen

  • who tha baby daddy

  • @KINGSWAG1000 Can not remember. I was watching Alyzah for a friend of mine. so she was not even mine.

    L

  • she only had 3 aww

  • newborn kittens

  • u don't cut the cord the cat eats it cause it is good for them

  • They wouldn't have interfered if the cat didn't want them to. Plus they were snipping them free so they would be able to move to nurse... They interfered because it was best to.

  • @Pachirisu113 : Cats cut them loose on their own. All of mine certainly have.

  • @blackstarr5 Yes, cat's are able to cut them loose one their own. It's only natural for them to. But they were just helping to put less stress on the mother. Being around cats like that is just making sure they're doing okay. So instead of sitting around watching, they helped.

  • @Pachirisu113 ..while I can appreciate people loving animals and wanting to be there and no harm no foul...trust me, the cat would have given birth with positive outcome even had they not been there..animals been giving birth for long time ya know? and that man there acting like he was some doctor LOL..when a man gives birth then he can be there to dictate and give orders and "interfere"

  • @Jocosity70 word! lol

  • what is the noise at 1:30 ???

  • I love cats

  • not be touched first puppies!, the mother may not recognize them and do not want those people! my cat company and wanted to touch them before her neighborhood but IS NOT!

Everyone says vets! too much noise, too much mess!, there was only the screams! during birth takes tranquility!

  • you are so annoying, why couldn't you just let her have her babies instead of you jumping in there and interfering!

  • @fireflymkz76 it all depends on the mother cat...if she doesn't want u anywhere near her then she will definately let u know...all animals are similar when it comes do who they trust with their babies...my rottweiler trusted my whole family with the babies and let us touch them to help her out but she wouldn't let the my other dog anywhere near the babies

  • @jv200520 : True...I still have tried to just sit back & observe when my cats have had kittens, tho. Unless I've noticed something is really wrong. Which only happened once, the mother was exhausted and sort of forgot to free the 3rd kitten from the sac. So I pushed it over to her so she did it herself.

  • actually cats, can be very affectionate and varies from species, i also breed cats, and depends on the closeness that you have with your cat if you are able to touch the kitties or not..its a defense mechanism, just like cleaning the kitty and stuff and a choice of momma cat, i also have my spoiled cat, and each time she is pregnant when she is giving birth she haves me as her personal doctor, and she is always, this is her third pregnancy and she is acting the same.i love her.

  • Mine was, she let my 5 year old sister touch it!!

  • u dont pick em up

  • actually if the mother of the newborn cannot make their offspring 'meow' or whine, in other words, thats when your supposed to step in and help. otherwise they die from having too much fluid in their mouths/lungs. i breed cats all the time and find loving homes for them, this guy was doing the right thing. and yes the scent can get on the newborn, but no enough to make the mother kill her child. thats with birds if you do that.

  • if u touch a cat's new born kisttens tey get your scent and the mother will eat them so you hsould have left them.

  • I thought that was only for birds and their eggs.

  • wow....that was so cool

  • AWESOME VIDEO!

  • wow leave it ALONE dont take the baby away from the cat

  • OMG leave the kittem ALONE the mother can take care of it not u guys, y else do you think the cat was meowing when u took its baybe away!?

  • march 31st was my birthday will its my birthday

  • u shoulda keepet one for ur self

  • Ouch that is just plain mean, They are SAVANNAHs!! Just Marble Savannahs (har ar ar ar)

  • i get it your a bengal breeder

  • yeah funny! (lol) btw They are Kristine's cats not mine!

  • this is her frist litter of kittens

    right

  • Alyzah was not mine. I was watching her for someone else. This was her 2nd litter.

  • i breed bengals too i have marbled ones rossets and spotted ones my cats last litter is spotted bengals but i prefer marbles like u

  • Why is there so much unnecessary noise...the phone, the kid yelling...I am sure the mother cat would appreciate some quiet.

  • lol omg did she eat one of the kittens? i thought only rodents do that?

  • You are so silly! :0 that was the afterbirth (the Placenta).

  • wow ppl keep asking you that same thing

  • Yes I know. I suppose that some people just dont pay attention. She had 3 kittens in the video and if you notice on the next video, the slide show of the three kittens upto 3 weeks old they are all alive and well. "Alyzah's Kittens First 3 Weeks"

    L

  • Yes I saw

  • why was he/she?? eating the one

  • she is not eating one that is the placenta.

  • what is the placenta

  • I think it is the same as "afterbirth" it is very common for cat and dog mothers to eat the afterbirth. There where 3 kittens born and all lived.

  • ur not supost to be messing with them when they come out our cats go in the barn and have kittens by them selvs we dont mess with theem and most of the time they all come out fine

  • My cousins cat had kittens and one died. He said that this happens to every cat. At least one kitten dies. Is that true?

    And congratulations.

  • It is common but not always true. Sometimes more than one can die. This is common among first time moms. Alyzah had kittens before so she knew what to do.

  • omg, was she eating one there was blood on the towel?

  • (lol) No she ate the Placenta. I know it was scary. I thought she may mistake one for the Placenta. It is normal for moms to eat the placenta.

  • congrats!

  • Thank you. The kittens are now around 13 weeks old and at their new homes.

  • thats good to know!

do you know anything about rabbits having babies? cuz we think my cuzins bunny, Thumper, is pregnant!:)

  • Such a good mid wife.. Congrats..

  • gratz

  • de nada

  • I'm watching this video and thinking that you need to come over to the east coast for the next couple of days to help birth my kittens. You make a great mid-wife!!!

    :0)

Thanks for posting this! I feel a little more confident now.

    And congratulations!

  • yea. The main problem is that the Bengal standard allows for marbles and the Savannah Standard does not. therefore these kitten cannot go to the shows. They do make excellent pets though.

  • That was marvelous! Congratulations! :D

  • Yes, thanks to Gary and Susan for the birthing box and the cage.

    L

  • That was awesome, Leonard! I loved Emily answering and screaming that another marble was out, and just the whole phone thing made it very cool to listen in on. Well done! Gary wants video credit for building the birthing box...;)
