Dom. You never did answer the question as to whether this particular lens was the D or G version. Only because I have the D version am I able to kinda guess that the version you had on your camera was the same. Your lens and mine look very similar.
Kim looked bored out of her mind...and there's some nasty moire going on between your video camera and Kim's top.

I just got my nikon af-s 50 mm 1.4 also but i am experiencing trouble with autofocusing or just even manual focus in general. It will look like its in focus in the viewfinder but when I take the photo it comes out blurry. Do you have the same experience too?.. is my lense defective. Please advise, frustrated.. thank you :0)

Of course it's sharp, because it's Canon! On the Nikon camera body you will not have such details.
I have Nikon but I have to say that Canon details kills me!!

canon is a cheap made n shit cam I've ever owned. Nikon was founded in 1917 and the copycat bulky cannon came in 1937. Nikon owns Cannon big time.

@ErDerErIs Main reason to put a Canon strap on a Nikon is to lower the chances of it getting stolen ;)
Putting a Pentax strap on would even decrease the chances more.
