there is one level where shadow mario appears on the 6th stage if i can remember corretcly, you can go to corona mountain with 49 stars

@BIueFalcon no. how that works is you can skip the very 1st shine in the 1st level & go straight to petey pirahna & beat him, then move on to the 3rd shine, thus only needing 49 instead of 50.

well, even if this does work, its pointless, since bowser is pretty much just another shine sprite. So, this would be the equivalentg of stepping into the lava area, and exiting out. You would make the flood dissapear without getting the shine sprite from defeating Bowser.

Bowser can only be killed, but he can never die.

I think that this happens (I know what you're talking about, even though I've never done it myself) because you go through the warp event to fast, so it can't process the whole warp.

when the fllood happened on mine i missed it. i was in the pipe above the shine gate so everything looked normal to me. i just went right into corona mountain and exited when i was fighting him to get more lives.

@pivotknyte i know its quite late, but you can use the All Shines cheat once u have a camera(or play it on dolphin emulator and use a PC filmer) then get yoshi's egg from shadow mario, enter any level, then exit. Delfino Plaza Flooded. Now just film ;)
