There's no evidence to suggest this car is on N02 but i guess people can believe what they want. As an owner and enthusiast of the Gtir myself i can say my 92 jap import model on standard boost with no other mods other than aftermarket clutch ran a 13.8 @ 102 mph on a gtech pro unit and with the addition of a mines ecu the car ran a 12.89 @ 109 mph. No intercooler, intake , exhaust mods were done at this point. Needless to say i was most impressed!

i don't think it's on NO2, too.

i saw stock GTI-Rs running high 12's on cold days, and a 12,5 can easily be done by improving some parts.

on NO2 it would be faster than that.

I'm sure there's footage of a GTi-R doing a 10.6 sec standing quarter without NOS, but it launches much harder than the one in this video.

My GTiR ran a 13.85 sec in astanding quarter and 154 mph in the flying @7400 rpm,I felt standing time could have been better if the gear changes were quicker ,if I rushed it I ended up with a miss shift and a slower time, the only mods being filter,exhaust and about 1 bar of boost .

m8s gtir ran a 13.7 with a REALY BAD slipping clutch. only had a pod filter. has since had a full forged rebuild with a haltech,fmic,exhaust,new HD clutch and more boost. made 213kw at the wheels but hasnt been 2 the drags yet. hoping 4 mid-low 12s

standard runs about 13.7 with a good launch, has been recorded to run 13.4 but a normal person will prolly only run about 14.0
