  • that's a banging body

  • Comment removed

  • he is soo fucking hot

    PS: the exrcises are effective^-^

  • Great vid, good work.

  • Thank you for the tips!

  • I FEEL THE BURN!

  • This is all great BUT, when you start to go heavy on the weights then the ball is prety much useless.

  • How do you know what size ball to use? I'm 5'9".

  • I have tried this and it is the best abb work out. It helps do the muscles deeper in your body. It deals with the deep dwelling transverse abdominals TVAs. Other work outs are not as effective with dealing with those muscles.

  • I notice that most of the negative comments here are males (so it seems). I think the greened eyed monster lurks around here >:D

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmm♥

  • I think I just became a fan of this video series ;)

  • for about 60% of a single rep you are not using your abdominal muscles, which is not good, I would not recommend this workout.

  • whats the difference b/w a swiss ball and a regular exercise ball? aren't they the same?

  • dudes hot....

  • Whether you watch the guy or listen to the speaker, doesn't make much difference as long as you get the required results. Right???

  • @kalpesh36 where the Fuck is it i cant fiend any vid like that can u give me link pls?

  • @kalpesh36 hey i can't find it. can u send me the link

  • HOW MUCH IS THAT BALL? is it expensive?

  • @ralphwestern Like 20 to 30 dollars

  • Like bar looks like a joint LOL.

  • @thebas15 haha ikr :D

  • Very informative video.

Metriks' FCE software allows the healthcare professional to objectively quantify and report on a person's functional abilities.

  • A good method of losing weight - first-focus.ru/tds/diet.php This is worked!!!

  • 17 people are too fat to do these exercises.

  • @samsarafloever 18 now lol

  • how can u stabilize your self like that?!! Does this come with training or is there a method to it?

  • i want him as my personal trainer.

  • Hey mate thanks for this video it taught me alot about the form i should have on a stability ball. I just have a question though when you say abs respond better to training without failure.

First of all in the video your performing more repititions then you reccomend (5-6) so does that mean i should be using weights?

Also, all my other muscles train respond best to training to failure and ripping muscle fibres? Slow - good form - light weights i found is what my bondy responds to best.

  • Excellent

  • abs respond better WITHOUT muscle failure??? wtf,, ,, shit

  • mmy feet are sliping

  • ok, every time i do these i feel it in my lower back more than my abs.... any tips? afterward I feel my lower back sore more than my abs...

  • Damn it, can't pay attention to the guy talking but the guy working out only O_O

  • pwoah hot >.<

  • Great information Thanks Adam!

  • wow, whats up with the gay comments above. Im trying to do a workout here and trying to read for some great comments, please keep gay comments to yourself.

  • Thank you ridgelinefitness! I was sick and tired of doing crunches on the floor when I found this video. Doing these crunches on the ball makes them MUCH harder. I start feeling pain in my abs only after 4-6 reps as opposed to 20-25 on the floor, and I am constantly struggling to keep myself from falling off the ball. This is making my workouts more diverse and more fun.

  • this is a good way to train abs

  • I was too busy watching the guy do his excercises that I forgot to listen to the guy talk. I played it again and I forgot to listen to him talk again.

  • @foreveryourzz101 Lol, the same thing happened to me. I must have watched this video a zillion times trying to catch up on 'lost' details that I didn't pay attention to the previous times I watched the vid. This time I discovered the thing about positioning the tongue in the roof of the mouth behind the front teeth XD

  • @foreveryourzz101

you cant watch and listen at the same time hmm ....

  • @foreveryourzz101 Errrrm... me too.

  • I think it's funny as hell when people work out their abs and nothing else so they have a cut six pack with nothing else and they think their buff hahaha. There's at least one of those kinds of dumbasses at just about every gym on this planet.

  • Tried this today, this workout is the best ab workout I've ever had.

  • Are the top commenters from the gay community?...

  • did it at the gym. made me want to vom

  • I tried this at my gym but it made me feel so dizzy

  • @cozz me too

  • How big is that ball?? Mine is 65 cm (26 inches) but that one looks smaller.

  • whatta hottie

  • anyone is that stability ball like a yoga ball or?

  • @heresjoje yes, its the same. The real name is Bobath ball, but you can find many different names.

  • @heresjoje thats a exercise ball

  • Best exercise ever...It's only looks shitty and too easy,it will burn your abdominals out...

  • It looks like a giant steel ball, what sort of material is it?

  • @wfages metal! lol rubber its like the kids bouncy balls you used to use with massive rubber ears coming out and you used to sit on it and bounce its just a thick rubber ball

  • @Liquadia Thanks for your reply. I would think yes that metal would be seriously hard to control - (just imagine it smashing down the staircase, look out below!!!)...just that the one in the video doesn't seem to squish at all (maybe mine just needs air) anyway time to try the exercises already and see the results...errrrrrrr work work work.

  • @wfages steel.

  • IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!! =D

  • @chuckphantom now lift one leg and do the crunches again, it will be much more effective

  • Yep, swiss ball is the only REAL way. Machines, electrical or other alledged methods are bullshit.

  • lol pubic bone...

On a more serious note, it seems like I'm not doing these right. Time to fix things.

  • I follow all the instructions but I can do 10-20 reps but I have no ab muscles... what am i doing wrong

  • @EzraBS Read the Abs Diet by David Zinczenko

  • @EzraBS the program is wrong try typing "8 Minute Abs" in the box and watch the real program that only takes 8 minutes everyday and depending on your body condition sooner or later you'll see real results, good luck

  • good to know how to do it

  • his ball looks super inflated...

I'm very light and the ball keeps owning me =(

  • I'm SOLD....

  • well i will be doing this tomorrow...lol :) and hey future friends... follow me on twitter... wildberry50

  • great video! finally!! thank you

  • There's some many instructional exercise/workout videos on youtube that are just pure shit. This is great: informative, easy to understand and no bullshit.

  • Those ab crunches look just beautiful! I bet by being able to lean WAY back like that, you keep the balance in your back just where it should be, without any of that lower back pain I sometimes get from regular crunches...so precise, deliberate, maximum tension, just like you said, I'm seriously gonna try this.

  • I LOVE his videos because he breaks it down with explaining the form. Quality over quantity is what its all about. im so sick of seeing people with the wrong form pumping out soo many crunches. Its about form and being precise. love these videos! :)

  • @TierraMarieGray

exactly! i see allot of crazy &%*% at the gym...I like his straight forward approach

  • i enjoyed watching this...

  • congratulations for the video! Very good!

  • Check out how to get abs fast on my channel guys!

  • Ur awesome Mr.ridgeline ;)

  • crunches on a ball give you full range of motion... wich is great! check out how to get a six pack fast on my channel guys!

  • Thanks for these quality videos.

  • crunches are the best abdominal exercises! check out how to get a sic pack fast on my channel!

  • 0:35 IT SUPER EFFECTIVE!

  • how does he get his ball to stay so still, mine rolls with me

  • @ThaGiver

put it on a surface with friction to keep it from rolling

  • @ThaGiver me too!! i fall off my ball constantly=/

i wonder if it has too much air?

someone help us, we want his abs! LOL

  • @ThaGiver

don't be concerned much if the ball rolls with you. It is mostly due to lack of core strength. That is - those small, tremble like movements you do to correct your positioning on top of the ball. Just focus on the ab crunch and not on the ball trying to roll away. Within short time, as your core strength and balance increase, those corrective trembles will diminish and eventually disappear completely.

    Good luck!

  • is this suppse to burn while doing it or after? because after i did it it was burning a little bit... was i doing it wrong?

  • Also .. this ball seems like a much betetr quality ball .. that other one looked like they were basically just a big version of those cheap balls you'd see in cages in grocery stores years ago

  • this looks much better .. than the moves I just watched on another video

  • The best swiss ball series ever.Ciao

  • how about adding weight? When and how should this be done?

  • AWSOME VIDEO......I'v been doing swiss ball crunches for a while but never felt them the way i did after doing them the way this video reccomended " slow, deliberate, focusing on quality over quanity. I could only do like 6-10 when i'm use to doing like 50-100!! I was shocked I felt it after only that many reps, But hey I'd rather work smart than hard any day so....GREAT POST

  • @IDESIREther4iam82 work hard and smart

  • What's the difference between a Swiss Ball and an exercise ball?

  • The exercise ball and swiss ball are the same thing. It was originally called the Swiss ball when it was developed back in 1963. Now because the ball is used with so many different tasks in life, the names can be switched exercise ball, balance ball, fitness ball, Pilate ball, gymnastic ball, and many other commonly used names based on who you're talking to about it. There are 2 types, the ribbed ball and the smooth ball. The ribbed ball is used for traction so you don't slide off as easily.

  • Swiss ball? I thought it was a beach ball. No wonder I got strange looks at the beach. I thought it was a high quality single color beach ball.

  • I do them slowly and deliberately like this, but.. i started off doing 20, now am up to doing 40, i must not be doing it right then?? i swear i'm doing the technique just like the video

  • this ebook is the best! i recommend for everyone. read it, sneak a peak here

  • The swiss ball is a very useful tool for sure...and if you are able to do more than 12-15 at a time, you're probably not focusing the move in your abs but in your hip flexors (iliopsoas and rectus femoris). At the top range of motion you should only be at about a 30 degree angle...any more than that is involving your hip flexors for sure.

    Great video!

  • i have tried doing crunches with exerciseball, its very effective.

Question: if im doing 15-20 reps, im a doing it wrong? have i been doing it wrong all these years?

few reps is that the key?

  • @bladdan dont be a robot to numbers wen u feel it u feel it na mean?

  • this video says if you do 20 or more crunches it means that ur not doing it properly.. i can manage to do 50 and i think that im doin it the right way..is 50 too much to build ab muscles? im doin 3 sets of 50

  • hey yeah im doing almost as many as you, and i do them 5 days a week, this video is worrying me now, i'm going to see tomorrow at the gym if i can do them even slower than i am doing them now, except i am doing them pretty dam slow already.

  • how many reps and sets a day?

  • 4-6 reps of 3 sets 2-5 times a week, he says it in the video

  • What´s the size of his swiss ball?

  • IT"S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!

  • This is amazing, can anybody tell me if there is a difference between medicine ball and the swiss ball or are the same?

  • no its not the same: a swiss ball is bigger - a medicine ball is smaller and the weigth is higher.

  • medicine ball is the size as a basketball, but heavier

  • Medicine balls are generally smaller and much heavier. They're used mainly for strength training for people with some sort of disability or injury. You can't really sit on them or do crunches because they're too hard and uncomfortable. That's how they differ from the Swiss (exercise) balls.

  • when i do crunches in general, i feel my lower back fatigue and i feel pain in my muscles sooner than i feel it in my abs. and when i tried the swiss ball crunches today i felt this much sooner than regular crunches. am i doing the motion wrong or something|? anyone with an answer please let me know.

  • Well it depends on which muscles you feel the pain in. Make sure that you are keeping your head straight. When you go up for a crunch, try to do the motion as if you are thrusting your chest up, and not toward the bent legs. Keep looking up or diagonally toward the ceiling.

  • Have you ever considered strengthening your back muscles using exercise like superman?

In this, you lie down on your stomach, extend arms in front of you, and in one motion, raise the chest and legs, while keeping arms extended. only the muscles on the back side of your body will be used in this motion. See for a vid on youtube.

  • @toupao414 You need to ensure you have good, constant stability within your core stomach muscles. Because the ball creates an unstable base, you need to work up to doing more mobile exercises. Maybe start by putting your shoulders on the ball and making a bridge, hold that for 10 seconds... maintaining breathing

  • muito bom

  • well that was a pleasure to watch !!!!

  • @Odvaha yes very sexy... lol

  • @only1mink Glad you enjoyed it too !!!! lol :)

  • You should work the entire flexor chain and include a chin tuck.

  • ''High resistance and low repetitions for abs''

Does that then mean Pysiotherapy excersises are focussed on more repetitions and less resistance, as to avoid aggravating injury? and to achieve more easily a full range of motion?

  • exactly. your not going to want to put high resistance upon recovery. its all about easing back into it.

  • Very important people with overweight should begin with cardio (walking or even spinning ) Ball exercise dont make you loose fat , Diet and cardio FIRST

  • Negative. Do BOTH. That way when the fat is gone, you have some larger ab muscles on display.

  • They can do 'exercises' so to speak, to burn calories. Its better to stick to full body routines, cardio, and diet to lose weight. However, being overweight and doing crunches doesn't contribute to their size. Just time and diet does (and the exercise itself).

  • Im the kind of body type that has a lot of bulked upper body muscle. but i have a gut. (i never really liked running or working out abs)

I want to start doing whatever I need to, to get rid of the belly fat. what would you recommend?

  • U got the same body like me. The only way u will get rid of those love handles is a combo of cardio or sports, diet and lots of ab work outs. Thats the only time I have a 6 pack is when I do those 3 things at once... Some ppl dont need to do all that but if u gain mass easily on your upper body, or whole body like me then u will have to attack the fat from all sides!

  • Very WRONG. U will have a small body with no mass. If u want to have a good body and u are fat do not listen to maohuerta. This is what u do. U do diet, cardio and the ball excersize. What a lot of ppl dont understand is that u can use the fat to your advantage when starting to work out again because u have to lift or push a lot more weight than if u were skinny. Which means u can gain mass fast and get lean at the same time. Do the ball, cardio and go on a diet. And dont listen to maohuerta.

  • what is the best ball exercise for me? I'm overweight but I have upper right scoliosis. Please reply. Thank you & MORE POWER!

  • what is stabiltity ? spell check

  • stable

meaning even like umm not falling over

  • great video i spent countless hours doing abs and never got the "burn" this really helped out thanks man

  • How short is the guy in this video? I'm 6'4 and can't seem to position myself on the ball in the same way, despite having the largest Swiss ball available.

  • kick ass!

  • never mind your boyfriend, you should meet me..

  • i lol'd

  • i wish my boyfriend could look like that

  • tell him to hit the gym. but dont be cheating on him now cuz he dont look like that. xP

  • what brand ball is this guy using. I just bought one from maxfitness and it is too soft and bouncy. I inflated it to the right size too by measuring it. This guys ball is firm and dosent seem to give much which looks better for working out with.

  • He's using a Sissel Pro ball, they are used in a lot of gyms.

The balls are made of strong material and can take up to 2200lbs.

  • I agree. I still have neck pain even after following these instructions.

  • Yes, neck pain is a problem I've had for a while, but I've found concentrating/looking at a part of the ceiling or higher wall, prevents you from jerking your neck, which helps prevent the pain.

I'm no expert, but it might be worth a shot.

    Best of luck.

  • Yes. I am currently doing standing ab exercises and I am not sure if they are the best for abs, but I feel more comfortable with them so I will stick with them for now. I heard the ceiling trick but for some reason when I tried it my neck still hurt. I was getting terrible headaches and what not.

  • I get terrible neck and head pain from conventional crunches. Is the stability ball going to help with the pain in my neck and head.

  • When I try to do this my throat and neck hurts, how am I meant to do the exercise without using the throat and neck muscles?

  • like the guy said "hold the tongue on the roof of your mouth behind your front teeth" this enables your facial muscles to staibalize your neck so it won;t be too rough on your neck

  • I actually bought the 4 DVD set from his website and have been doing these exercises. It is very good, the crunches are easier to do now because on the DVD he shows you how to do it properly, also he shows u other exercises for back muscles which helps with the crunches as well because once the back is strong u won't need to use the neck to lift yourself up. I highly recommend getting his DVD's, excellent investment.

  • That exercise is kinda hard isnt it?

  • What if I ain't got the equipment for that?I don't have a ball can this exercise be subtituted by another one like normal crunches?

  • better is a biger ball, but not to big though, depend of your back

  • wow, it's amazing how steady he is using the ball, when i try it, it's very hard to stay steady and do your workout. but i guess u need to do it more often to get better.

  • For an amazing strength and condition video type in "mike Saffaie workout" in the search bar

  • good technique, so many people get this wrong even me.

  • Hi, I just want to ask if what gym ball size is appropriate and better to use.A gym ball this size on ur video or the one that is bigger than this? And does the size of the ball will cause different result?I'm a begginer and a 154 lbs. I hope u reply and help me.Thanks

  • this guy looks like he weighs about 170 or something so unless your abnormally tall, the same size ball should be fine. the only difference for a bigger ball would be how far back you can bend

  • lol at the name

  • this is hard

  • Me gusta mucho tus rutinas las pondre en practica, son muy interantes, por la estabilidad y concentracion del movimiento,

    Muy bien!!!!

  • orale....te gusta la swiss ball tambien

  • me encanta ETA

  • I got a 6pack from doing 200 crunches on the ball, 100 of which involved weights. I did this after I did 50 leg raises(bar or stand) and did the ab workout after my other exercises. After doing this for 2-3 I got amazing results. Awesome exercise as it doesn't hurt the back and suprisingly easy to do!

  • Did you do 200 crunches at a go.

  • he said, if you're doing 10,20, 30, or more you are probably doing it wrong? why is it wrong?

I do like 30, and it's hard around that so I stop there...but why is it not right?

  • If you are doing them right then you will more than likely need a break before 10 reps.the better your form or the more correctly you perform them, will result in you tiring from lower reps.

  • That's right...THIS is the Swiss training ball for that extra fella who trains while in his rest. this helps with focus and other things for me and those of us who know the rewards of hard work, and the faith to see it through.

    Good go!

  • I raise up to cruch and the ball rolls backwards and my feet sleed farward and i end up on my butt with my back on the floor

  • I just keep falling off the ball
