Firstly, he didn't get second becasue he had more poles. It was does on countback.

I just know for a fact he isnt as good as people say. He cant come through the field. I mean, take Japan for example, he couldnt progress. Massa did, he spun and spun, but pulled things out the bag and got points.
Lewis in monza was lucky, his only challenge was a force india, a red bull, and kimi raikkonen. Thats not much of a challenge, 3 cars pitted and he past them, then bourdais stalled ofc ourse. so 3 overtakes (good one on kimi) and thats it. Useless

Ermm hamilton in monza again from 14th to finish 7th , but he could have won the race if it wasnt for mclaren with the wrong tyre choice

Lewis didnt win in singapore because he messed up? No, Alonso got lucky with the safety car, and so did nico, as his penalty was delated due to the clean up of the crash. Lewis only just managed to overtake DC, when both were heading to the pits. Lol.
Oh, senna was crap. Few good performances, thats it. Its because he died, everyone says hes so fantastic. When, he was damn good. But nothing else.

Ive watched all the races from the 80's +, which is way before my time, and I totally disagree that he was asgood as people say he was. And, his death brought things to new heights, I mean, when he died everyone was on about how he would have won the championship in the williams. but, thats aload of crap, because we never can know, just like I dont think he'dve got another championship.
In the end, his death glorifyed everything beyond sensibility. No joke.

you really misunderstand me. I dont think senna was phenomenal like alot of people do. Alonso, schumi e.t.c, all watched senna and said he was like the best, but honestly if he didnt die, would he be so looked upon? Its a valid point. Much like how much i love Gilles and Hunt, both prematurely died and I loved both of them, I respect senna a hell of alot, but i disagree with anyone saying such and such is a legend. I disagree with that, senna was great and still is, but not as some make out.

No. He had some brilliant races, but he also had alot of standard races where there was genuinely nothing special about it, just another good racing driver next to prost, piquet and mansell.

I dont believe there are 'legends' as the true definition of the word means.
What there are, are great champions of the past; Piquet, Prost, Rosberg, Hunt, Moss, G. Hill, Surtees, Fangio, Rindt, ascari, brabham, clark, fittipaldo and on and on.
the term legend is used to loose and in wrong definition, as alot use legend as the term for meaning the great days of racing and their champions.

It's funny though how he agreed to start with a lighter car than anyone else, which is exactly the opposite of what you normally do in those conditions, even though he started way back and there's basicly no chance to overtake. He always seems to be so involved in all strategy decisions too so I would love to hear why he agreed that it was a good idea.
