i did the same ar codes as MKSSB did and i loved it. when i got to the dark star core i used falling star, i threw stars and got to 3 sets of small stars and when the attack finished, total damage was 14636 damage! i was like HOLY SHIT!!!!

Arrgh why do people have so much trouble with this. This is the easiest final boss in the series so to help out here is what you do.

Part 1: Just wail on Dark Bowser for a while Broggy Bonker is recomended. If you do not have it use Magikoopa Mob instead. When Dark Bowser locks Bowser in a cage simply repeatedly tap x to break free before the blast hits you.

continued: for the stone rain attack just use shell defense to avoid getting hit. Make sure to punch one of the rocks in the front so it hits Dark Bowser or he will hit you with an unavoidable fire attack. When he punches simply punch when he finshes charging and then duck to avoid the counter strike. After causing enough damage Dark Bowser falls and Fawful will heal him. He will get huge and use a mega attack summoning a mob of Dark Minions at you.

Punch Dark Koopas, Dark Goombas and Dark Bob-ombs. Punch low flying Dark Bullet Bills but duck to avoid high ones. Duck when passing underneath Dark Thwomps to avoid them. Also be sure to duck as well to avoid Dark Bowser. Keep moving or Dark Bowser will land in front of you and hit you. When it is your turn target Dark Bowser's Belly and punch it and he will cough up Fawful. Use the Vaccum block to inhale Fawful. You have to tap X really fast to get swallow him though.

Like most fights anything Bowser inhales becomes Mario and Luigi's problem. Fawful has several attack. When he digs his hands into the floor hammer the energy balls going down his arms away before they touch the floor and cause shockwaves. When Fawful grabs the bros. just jump the shock wave emited by his antenae with the corosponding bro when it is at level. Do not jump when below it. When Fawful chases you just jump the ball as it dives at you remember to watch the color.

To defeat Fawful use the same method as Cackletta. Attack his various parts and then hit his weak spot.  First target his glasses. Jump Helmets work well on those. Then go for the legs. Snack Basket can cause heavy damage to all the legs. After taking out the legs Fawful falls over and you can target his weak spot the antena. Fawful now uses new attacks. He will use a sweeping clock hand like move. When it touches the ground jump alternativly with both bros.

If he fires a spear at you just hammer it back at him. For the laser have both Bros. jump on Starlow and hold both buttons down to maintain your grip until the attack ends. When the antena is exposed use Falling Star for massive damage. Eventually Fawful will flee and the process repeats itself. Just keep at it until you defeat Fawful then just tap the X button repeatedly to have Bowser deliver the final blows to Dark Bowser and there you go. You win.

I lost so many times in this fight. Not on Dark Bowser only on Dark Fawful and the Dark Star.

I used Shy Guy Squad on Dark Bowser until he dropped. Then when I was Mario and Luigi I used just regular jumps on Fawful's Glasses until they broke. Then used Snack Basket to take care of the legs. Then used Magic Window on the Dark Star until he died (or fled). I defeated it the 2nd time I inhaled Dark Fawful.
