His reaction may have been due to pain - he nearly broke his thumb at St. Devote in practice when his tyre snagged a wall or kerb or something and violently wrench the steering wheel. This may have been that incident. You would expect him to simply have done a U-turn and rejoined if it was a simple mistake. (The only other time I ever saw Senna react like this was Mexico 92 when he belted the wall hard and thought he'd broken his legs.)

Yes!But at Mexico,he thumbed himself a lot more...but he really was in pai n that time at mexico and Monaco 93 earlier than this happened
