I'll admit Endlessly, FAWY, Soldier's Poem (one of my current favs :D), Exogen. Symph. and Blackout are a little sad, but, I just don't get how Starlight, USoE, MotP and HCM are sad. HCM is more slow/calm than sad. All good songs in general though (though I'll love almost any Muse song put in front of me, except for a few that I have to warm up to *cough, cough,Guidling Light,cough,cough,Starlight*) Maybe "light" is the thing that screws it up :S

@dafuckerr Actually, that was the first song I ever listened to from Muse, and I personally reflect on it as melancholic, but in a more regretful...hopeful kinda "remembering the past" way. So I can see how it is sad for me and other people, as it is somewhat attributed to a point in my life that the song was used for a "happy it happened, wishing for more" way. Also, "black holes" refer to my ruts, & the "memories" line & "promise not to fade away" line make me a little sad about time wasted.

Space Dementia is a song a lot of people forget but is pretty damn sad, the acoustic version of Falling Away was epic (if it's been reposted).
