@tuerkefechi There are 3 judges here, that score 1 point based on an entire 10 second skirmish. the fighter they believe won the skirmish overall gets the point. 2 out of 3 judges score the same, that fighter wins the skirmish. it is a bit more complicated, but for further info, you can check out "byyon" here on YouTube. He's the guy that is responsible for it all :-)
Okay, so it was restricted by the government because of the safety? What rules were made for counting the points?

Why so much protection and why this kind of sticks? What were the rules?

@tuerkefechi This is Ontario, Canada. It's the nature of amateur sports here - especially with weapons.
